Just saw them in Cleveland last night... Bryan described this song as being inspired by Breaking Bad... specifically the thought of Walter White rolling a 55 gallon drum of cash through the desert.
Interesting, Last time they played Mexicali, Mexico...Brian described the song as being inspired from the first time they played Mexicali and were heading up to Vegas the next night, and someone mentioned that they were heading up the smugglers corridor....So perhaps the inspiration to the song title?
Thank you so much for posting this. My newest fave from them. Unfortunately I got hammered at the show in Tulsa (in all fairness it was a medication interaction with whiskey) and don't remember the ENTIRE SHOW. I was soooooo disappointed the next day. I simply love everything they do and was heartbroken. Again, thank you.
4:18 you have to be FUCKING KIDDING ME
that's Tarantino's soundtrack material right there
i have always thought like this, and i feel like it smells like tequila!
Incredible musicianship
Superb musicians
4:20 when you want notes below the low E, but you left your 7-string at home
This currently my favorite song composed by Bryan. Such a nice groove and feel.
