    I was at the game that Judge hit the 477 foot homer for 100 (technically 101) RBIs and 40 HRs, and I GOT IT ON VIDEO

    As a football fan watching Judge and Ohtani this season brought me back to baseball, but I enjoyed Shohei's 50-50 more and he had a better year, they both had a great offensive season but Ohtani also had one of the greatest stolen base year (59-4 94% and 54 HRs) and topped it off winning a championship.

      @@noyes88 Seriously dude, you want to compare stats for a player who was hurt (and had major shoulder surgery after the WS) for 4 games in the World Series versus one who wasn't and even then Judge barely squeaked out better plate appearances?! ROTFLOL! BTW, we can also look at how many dropped balls Ohtani had versus Judge, LOL!

      If the yanks could perform around him he wouldn’t have to try to carry the whole team on his back, which is what he’s doing. He gets more aggressive and takes big swings in the postseason. Those last two games the yanks were performing and he started looking a little like himself (besides the 5th inning but then again no one looked like themselves). Just need performing hitters supporting him and the other big bats in the lineup.

    It’s honestly pretty sad how one of the greatest offensive seasons ever is gonna be completely overshadowed because of the postseason but it’s hard to disagree with those sentiments either especially when you’re in NY in this pinstripes.

    A slow start but still a great season! Might have broken the AL, single season, home run record but not for the slow start. But sadly, a very terrible post-season.

    Ohtani to me is a better MVP than Judge, not just because of going 50-50 but the Dodgers had the most injuries on a team and Shohei carried the Dodgers to the best record in baseball. As individual hitter Judge was better with the War number, but ESPN showed a graph if people want to see a player's contribution to a teams win success look at WPA (Win Probability Added) is a baseball statistic that measures how much a player's value and actions contribute to a team's success of winning. WPA can help identify the key moments and major contributors in a game. It also shows which players had the biggest value, impact on a game and winning through the season. In 2024 Ohtani WPA=7.1 and cWPA= 5.6% Judge WPA= 6.1 and cWPA= 4.3% The ESPN panel all agreed Judge was a better hitter but Ohtani was a better MVP especially with all the injuries on the team and Ohtani carried the Dodgers all season and to the best record in baseball.

      Ohtani also had one of the greatest games ever when he went 6 for 6 with 3 HRs and 10 RBIs, while Judge had one of the worst games ever when he went 0-5 with 5 strikeouts against 5 different Pirates pitcher 😅
