I'm Korean I wasn't interested in idol music But I was surprised to see ATEEZ's stage in MAMA2021. I don't see MAMA around me, including myself. In Korea, idol shows like MAMA, including BTS's In the Soop, have a 1% audience rating. Not many people are interested in idols. I'm natural. I felt most idols were just like each other. Dance, songs... But I happened to see the energy-filled stage of ATEEZ. I was interested, so I looked up their information. And I heard Turbulence. After all, I am a fan of them It's been a long time since I've heard such a moving song. I hope that their talents are widely known and that everyone will be comforted and energized

I believe the song is basically just their anxieties and worries in this stage of their life. They're basically saying "Is it okay for me to be this confused and scared?" "I feel like I'm still wandering and figuring out who to be and how to feel." "I feel the pressure coming at me and we're so high at this place right now and I'm terrified" "Can you understand me and help me and if not, just be my safe place, my companion in this confusing way of life?"
Me, every single time!! I get the song might not be for everyone, but I love this side of them so much! Their vocals and the way they pour their emotions while singing really gets me
They said the song is inspired in those who are going through the change between being a teenager and an adult. Mostly the anxiety, the fear and the insecurity of not knowing what to do or what to become as it says in the song, it goes along the fever series where they mostly talk about teenage years and that! Personally, i think is the best song they could have chosen to end this series. For me it really hit close to my heart, since i’ve been going through that change in this years i could relate a lot, it comforted me in ways i can’t really explain and honestly, i don’t remember crying as much as i did with turbulence with any other song.
Usually their title tracks are all loud and bangers but in their albums it's a variety of genres. They never failed to make me proud every album release. You should listen to their albums as well, you'll know them even more. I love Ateez very much.
