Check the inside of the outer tub. The inner tub was loose from the spider arm being broken, which caused it to rub. It nearly cut a hole all the way around. Im replacing both now. Also its a good time to clean everything out
Thanks a lot for video. Sir.. When inserting the spider shaft after replacement, is it okay if i do not apply grease between the bearing and the shaft?
At 6:00 in the video, you removed the center bolt so easily. Mine seems to be stuck really tight, even after 30 minutes of soaking in wd40 and usage of a socket wrench and mallet. Do you have other techniques for loosening this bolt? Must the stater housing and stater be removed in order to replace the spider arm?
Yes I made the mistake of getting one of these Awful washers.. 2yrs changed the pump now 5yrs. The spider arm and bearings.. JUNK is an understatement. And the CES video Samsung said there customer ratings are Top in the Class.. BS this is trash... i know the engineers at Samsung Know Better & are Criminal in their design. I Asia they would be Arrested for stealing & making this product to Fail. What do you think about powder coating a new spider arm. Should that help reduce this metal breakdown..? Thanks again

The inside tub was probably spinning. Have someone hold it
I was wondering about torque specs for the bolts holding the spider arm. But maybe I'm expecting my auto repair experience to transfer too much ...
What is the model number of your washer?
i was going to do mine but the spider has made a hole in the outer drum .
