Very helpful...it is all so simple (at least it seems so when the pool company quickly gives you their "pool school" orientation about the various aspects of pool maintenance) but when I had to do this for the first time myself, it was nice to have such a clear, step-by-step guide to help me through the process. Thanks!
I find that using straight water to clean my filters doesn’t get them clean as I’d like. I spray on Simple Green and allow it to sit for 15-20min and than spray the filter on the jet setting of my water nozzle and it works great. Done this to my same filters 6 times so far and had only one band break on me thus far.
The video seems to indicate that you do not have to close any of the intake or outtake valves associated with the system. My pool has a number of valves including one for the waterfall and there are valves for the solar heating system. Is this a correct assumption. Thanks BTW I really appreciate this video. I agree with James Brewer comments below as well.
Hey nice video its exactly what I've been doing all these years but I ran into a big problem, and maybe you can help me. I have the same setup, Jandy pump and filter, but I notice the manifold has been cracked both time I have changed them, any idea what's the cause , thanks
Good instruction video, but the resolution of the video is poor, such that I cannot see the instructor's face. Suggestion: retake this video with a current cell phone (2016 and up).

Love the good strong training voice.
Very thorough. Thanks for posting. This video helped a lot.
And to think I was going to pay my pool guy $100 to do this. Currently home on Corona “distancing”. I’ve got time and RUclips so why not?
Good and detail explanation.. Thanks

Very badly filmed. Difficult to understand what is happening and where is the camera. Sometimes it shows the guys T-shirt only.
