Other than the America Indian, everybody else in America is originally from a different continent. Thus the description African American applies to people that originated on the continent of Africa and born in America. It's as though this describes one's father and mother's names. The African continent is the origin of the first man, first civilizations, first religions and the richest continent when it comes to natural resources. Most importantly, the strongest and most creative people in the world.
