The feeling of being back in Thailand never gets old from tbe first few steps of the plane into the airport its always good to be back. Looking forward to catching up with u hopefully in March bro. Almost at that 100k
Couldn't agree more. I've been all over the world, but nowhere else gives me a buzz anywhere near like what you get when you arrive in BKK. It doesn't matter how many times you do it, it never changes.
I lived in Bangkok for 2 years and I’ve moved back to Southern California. My Thai wife and I are missing Bangkok every day. We miss the food, the low prices, taking the BTS, MRT, boats, songthaews, mini buses, buses, motorbikes taxis, and just walking around the amazing city that is Bangkok. We’ll be back though in April this year for Songkran and also a 1-week vacation getaway to Hanoi and Ninh Binh, Vietnam. Watching your videos reminds me of living there and I can’t wait to get back!
@ I should have never moved back! Haha! 555…I moved back because the salary I was earning as an English teacher was too low and I needed to save up for my wedding and eventually I brought my Thai wife to California, but we plan to retire in Thailand in the future.
Great video from a different perspective! I made videos from a visitor's perspective after my amazing trip to Thailand. Yours provides a lot of unique insights!
8:15 It’s the same story in the USA right now. It feels like everywhere you turn, people are dealing with financial stress. Such a shame. another good video though man
Hey Keis! love the channel man! You wouldn't believe how much value you have provided me before I came to Bangkok in 2023. Anyway, tell Marc that there is an amazing POUTINE shop right off of Khaosan Road. I used to eat there everyday! They even have multiple flavors of poutine! I used to spend a lot of time in Toronto and Vancouver. I love me some poutine too, bro! 😂
Do you have any recommendations on postage companies? I want to send quite a large parcel from Thailand to the UK. I have done abit of research and think my best bet is to use Fastship. Any help would be great Adam!
As a fellow Canadian, your boy Mark nailed it. It was immediately the food in Thailand I missed most both times I came home from the Kingdom. The prices of groceries are abysmal. I was eating 3 meals a day in Bangkok and most of Thailand for about $20cdn. Impossible to do that anywhere in Canada.
The worst thing about BKK nowadays is the air quality - it's atrocious for much of the year - if you like spending time outdoors (eg exercising or walking) for extended periods, then you are putting your health into serious deficit. Aside from this minor issue, it's a totally awesome place, especially for food👍
Coming into a fair bit of money in the next couple of months question should I spend it on a car/truck (live in Pattaya) or just get a bike instead and use the extra to travel around
Speaking of prices back home and how you don’t see the negativity here,.. prices are definitely climbing here in Thailand, I just paid 200 baht for a bagel and an americano coffee ( $6.00 ) but the girls in the bagel shop had big smiles on their faces from the second I walked in and they showed respect to an elder which those two things you never see in America, so that makes the climbing prices a lot more tolerable for sure
ADAM, I MUST SAY! been following you since i found you through Dan's channel just right when covid startetd, before u had 5k subs. When u moved a lot around Thailand. Felt like u had Thailand for yourself 😅 I know YT and adsense did Dan dirty! But im glad we got you to follow! Hey Keis, thanks for your videos on Bangkok. I've got some good info out of them. Leaving Bangkok tomorrow for Jakarta. I've been searching for a good expat place, but for me Bangkok is not 'it' for me. Great to visit but to live that's up for debate i guess. I wish you well bro.
The food in the West is criminally processed. When I was in Thailand, the fruit and vegetables in markets look completely different. Different color, taste, and size. Meat tastes better. The chemicals and processing is banned in many products throughout Asia. I'd be curious if Thailand has the same chronic issues for health.
You guys are spot on, the vegetables are fresh, not packed full of preservatives and chemicals, the meat too, I genuinely feel better day to day here because of the food
@@regnorse probably because ya start sweating the second you walk out the door, but it is funny you mention that because I come over to Thailand for three months every winter and I lose 10 pounds every time
Hey mate I was an expat in China for two years and you absolutely can't compare your financial situation to local Thais. I know you get paid in US$ and likely other currencies which translates to a decent exchange rate to Baht. Locals would be feeling the inflation and cost of living as they're being paid in Baht. It's all relative. When i lived in China Westerners were paid triple what locals were and we were given free accommodation. Enjoyed some of the insights. Why are you fasting? Weight loss?
@@RorysRamblingsThe cost of living in Cambodia is about the same as Thailand, but the quality of life is much lower than in the west. Mate another amazing Video but when riding a bike the riders should have Helmets for the passengers they are taking to and from places for food I do love the old bangers and mash or schnitzel and chips or fish and chips or I love the most Kangaroo and chips or just an Aussie BBQ
Great Video :) People are hurting right now in almost all western countries. I would not say I am lucky, just never spent above my means so I have plenty to deal with all this inflation and high cost, but I have cut back on food. $5.58 for eggs and a can of iced coffee is $4.89 at the gas station here in the Midwest USA, the coast like LA and NYC it is even worse....
@keisone yeah anything under 22 and I'm wearing a jumper. Good luck with the shedding man I know you're dying for a beer. We Aussies are known for our fit rigs so don't let us down haha 😉

Westerners saying “quality of life is better here than our home countries” does not represent life in Thailand for locals coz you guys get paid in AUD and CAD not Baht. What about the locals earning 10 USD a day working overtime without pay in shitty working conditions, living in slums? Too overwhelming city for me, sometimes very polluted and busy traffic which can be avoided by using the BTS
Yeah I like to stay out of the city now and take the train in when I want some madness haha
You should check out the Redbull skatepark in Benchakitti park it's really good,,. After seeing the park I really want to pick up skating again

Are you able to jog in Bangkok, or is it just too hot & too much pollution? This is one of my biggest fears.
This time of year is awesome temperature wise, but it does get super hot here, just adds to the workout, I have jogged plenty here
