from my experience "spazzy" white belts are white belts who freak out because they dont know wtf is going on . spazzy and energetic are two different things. all the videos of seen of this school seem to have white belts who know a good amount of shit and are just energetic. just young and hungry kids.

Hey Andrew! been loving your content recently (especially the grip breaking advice, has improved my passing immensely.) however I'd be interested in hearing what you would recommend to focus on, within the first years of training. Im a smaller built 16 yr old and have been experiencing difficulty retaining guard against strong torreondo and smash pass type players. Keep up the great content and advice! can't wait to see you and the other Pedigo guys compete more and more in 2021!

1:44 lets take a look at this beautiful entry into the triangle. Andrew has a left sleeve grip and also has a right shoulder grip. Andrew is also bent while being head to head with him so they are closer to the ground. While maintaining strong grips Andrew pulled his partner down and threw his left leg over his partners arm and simultaneously letting go of the left sleeve grip to breakfall getting the triangle. beautiful stuff
