Travis getting totally excited about celebrating with the little girl and just supporting his girlfriend and being completely humble as the boyfriend in the background about it is sweet.
That is my favorite picture of the tour, when Travis was singing with her - that girl was all Swiftied up in her best outfit, enthusiastically singing every song.

I think I was being reactionary to the overwhelming fandom that holds her to a near deity level when in reality she really does act with malicious and manipulative intent - especially in regards to aspiring female artists. You're right, it's not the place but the oblivious nature of her fans irks me, especially when she's praised as exceedingly positive and empowering. She is just the popular girl on the school bus of the music industry that can't bare to see anyone else shine or succeed to a level close to hers. Celebrity worship is at an all time high but no one likes when their favourites are fairly called out for abhorrent behaviour. Again, not the place - you're right.

I completely agree with you, it really irks me too, her fans think she can do no wrong and persistently overlook the negative things she does, like calculating staying at number 1 on the charts by releasing new versions every week so she can break more records and stay ahead of any other artist. Her number of fans ensure that if she drops something, just then listening puts it at number 1, but not because it’s actually good. The guys are always the ones wrong in the relationships, she clearly has a drinking problem and sings about her infidelity but they never speak about that. It’s a toxic fandom following a woman who lives off the attention and praise she receives, it’s like oxygen to her, it’s sickening to see and I can’t understand how more people don’t see it!!

I enjoy hearing you guys talk about this type of stuff. Sometimes Travis comes across as so nonchalant that I’m not sure how to take it. And then Jason chimes in and asks him how he feels…makes me happy to get this confirmation that despite the seemingly lack of excitement exuding from Travis, his ego is actually not overly inflated and we can appreciate a humble person again. Way to keep eachother in check!!! I always tell my bf who has been successful in his career, despite your success, always remain humble. It’s much more attractive 😊 and it rubs off on others in the best way possible!

I always enjoy listening to you two (though I could use fewer f-bombs from you, Travis). You seem like very humble down to earth guys. I’m sure being players in the NFL, talented ones at that, has given you access to celebrities that regular ol’ folks, aka jamokes, like me might not have and yet you’re not “braggy” about it. I’m sure you know this already but I don’t think it can acknowledged too often; I just think the two of you are so fortunate to have each other, as well as a family that loves and supports one another. They’re still in the honeymoon stages. They’ve got to spend a lot more time with each other. Taylor and Travis can only be the best for each other if they can really love each other past the newness. They haven’t lived real life like grandma and grandpa that have been through things together and survived it still in love. When the hype of this tour is over and it’s just them living an every day life without the fans cheering them on, that’s when they’ll see what they really mean to each other. That’s when they’ll know if they really have the same ideas about what life together will mean and if they can live a lifetime together or if someone else would be better suited for them.
