1st off, Thank You So Very Much for giving us Canadians a play of our own. I've spent more time on the TSW with the CNR Oakville Sub than I have with the American railroads. it means a lot as the CNR is my favourite railway company. I look for additions to this game with "GO Transit" with a run and stop, from Hamilton to Toronto's Union Station and return, or a VIA Rail runs from Hamilton to Toronto and return as well. In the Freight service, I'd love to do a trip from the main Hamilton to Toronto's ( Vaughan ) MacMillan yard, with general freight, or Brampton Intermodal Yard. Thank You so much for this Sub... I look forward to future add-ons.
Mickey's Pizza is now in Oakville. They are called The Hungry Dragon. A full service restaurant. They were Featured on the TV Show "You Gotta Eat Here". The Hungry Dragon now has Soda Ice Cream Floats. We had their Deep Dish Philly. The Best Pizza. They have Burgers too ! You gotta go there and support them..............
Banking comm is just a radio for locomotives with other drivers on the back of the train. They can communicate on what they're doing to work together. 2 locos together just run through the large electric jumper cable. It controls everything from power, to alarm buzzer to headlights etc
Darryl- you are spot-on about the banking comm radios from what I’ve been able to discover. It’s only used when you have distributed power ‘throughout’ the train, and not used when the locos are all directly connected (the cables between the locos handle the throttle/brake sync, etc at that point). For anyone interested, look up info on the GE ‘Locotrol’ banking system... some info on youtube as well on this.
This scenario took me damn near 3hrs to finish because the loco wouldn't even past 10 mph. All the brakes were off too. I still managed to get a gold for some reason. Lol WTF...
Put in to drive to star moving put to noch 2 then ones you get up to 2mph put in noch 1, The GP9rm are easy to drive and will do 30mph at noch 3 with eases. I found this format very smooth running you don't need alot of power to get moving .
I ran into this same issue, and have been beating on this scenario for the last few days trying to find out what the problem really is. After about 5 attempts (2 with throttle speed ok, and 3 with throttle speed painfully slow), it looks like this is just some sort of bug. The only fix I found so far is to uncouple the 5 (or 6) cars you just brought out from the small yard from the rest of the consist in the large yard, and then couple them up again. Once I did this, I had no trouble pulling out of the yard at normal speed. Good luck!
You have to link me where they said that. I do know during the livestream they said it was blocked off in certain areas. Everyone wants a Grand Theft Auto like map, but not every developer can pull off what Rockstar games can.
S B Merely look at the articles of the Route, where it States “you can explore the extensive Hamilton area”. Also look in the map in the manual. There is a key, a red line for lines the player can access, and a black dotted line for those the player cannot. The whole of Hamilton yard was in red.
Guys I have a question(btw nice gameplay I’ll sub to ya) which is better at the current moment, train sim world 2, or train sim world 2020 cause I’m about to buy one of them and I want to know which is better and will keep getting better overall in general.
CSX trains are on Sand Patch Grade and the New York DLC, and the Canadian National Route has gp9 and gp38 you can't play with these locomotive on the other routes.
Well, I purchased this route this morning, and I'm liking it very much. Then I start watching your video here, and 9 minutes in I'm really disappointed! The large auto manufacturing plant that DTG mentions in their information is the Oakville Assembly Complex of the Ford Motor Company of Canada. They were my employer for 31.5 years. When you walked into the first autorack you coupled to, it was disappointed to see what looks like a European automobile! Not your fault, but still a disappointment!

I really want this add on
shame that the horn is a stock sound effect and that you can't access half of Hamilton yard
I live right near these tracks. It's the exact sound these trains make when you see them live. Geez people.
S B Still doesn’t excuse DTG advertising Hamilton yard as being represented and accessible in full, when you can’t access half of it

@@cyrusbahmaie3580 okay..will look.
On this board I’m having a problem with the train dragging. Once I couple to the second set of autoracks the fastest I can go is 7mph on notch 8.
@Olaf the Snowman hey bro.. My train not moving forward
Wheels are sleeping.. And i can't even get more then 3mph speed
I agree! This is bullcrap! I cant get the train to move after coupling up to the other consist! Dovetail has made a mistake!
hey i just got this ... how do i set the headlights so the front is bright , but the year is just dim like a real train
Good video.😀😀
