Thank you this is the exact video and information I was looking for. Currently dont want to splurge on the ghost rares, glad to see the qcsr are similar to the sr which is perfect for my edison deck
For playability and budget collectors, I’d 100% recommend going with QCRs! Collection wise, I’d say starlights still have a bit of an edge in terms of quality and collectibility because they’re way more rare, but of course a massive price tag compared to their QCR counterparts.
is useless, the stardust dragon from stardust dragon tin 2008 the price is still low until today. maybe you will get like a 10-20dollars money back and that s it
I have a ghost rare 1st edition black rose dragon, what do you think it is worth ? Its been sitting collecting dust since i bought it for 70 dollars 10 years ago or so i believe. Its in mint condition but not psa graded
Do you think star light rare "the dark magicians" and "illusion of chaos" are good investments? I dont see them as an investment i love the cards but just dont want to see them drop much later
Best thing I ever did was stop Collecting yugioh when the first starlight’s came out. I do play competitively but these new rarities are so stupid. I still prefer my OTS ultimates.
This is the most clown move I have seen from a company. How can you promote starlight rares and then within the same year give a similar rarity destroying the value for everyone else. You're basically saying 'hey shops and collectors please don't invest in our game we have worthless stuff, we'll reprint the same card in the same year with a similar rarity..' dumb..
Haha yeah it’s really too bad. I’m definitely disappointed still but it is what it is! Hopefully they learn from this and do something different next time
@@yot330because gatekeeping good products for the masses just for the ego of a few is inherently bad. Everyone should have access to certain quality cards. Rarity should come from history behind the cards not the actual quality or style!
@@gumgumsage6513 well that has never happend. Value comes from being scarce or rare. The history only amplifies that. The cards that are available to this day aren't worth anything.
@@yot330 i understand sum times that isnt how value works. But that doesn’t make it right. People should be able to have a shiny card that isn’t worth 100s or thousands. Its not like they made starlights obsolete they just made a similar design.

I'm collecting them now to sell later when they aren't reprinted anymore and it's harder to come by the sealed promos!

I was so tempted to get the black rose when it first came out and I’m happy I didn’t now with these QCR
Haha completely fair. I still have an extra PSA 10 black rose QCR if you’re interested! Just hmu on Instagram 😜

@@jackolyte32580 take it or leave it 😂
@@jackolyte325do you still have it lol 😅
Yeah i still have it :) centering is not perfect but its a nice clean card.
Been waiting to ask you your take on these 😂
Just picked up cgc 10 starlight dragon for $150, pretty happy about it, going in my Permanent Collection
Stardust?
@ sorry, blue eyes jet
The inly differenwce is the name coloring silver vs gold
Not quite haha… I point out the other differences in the video.
My local card shop is trying to tell me my starlight rare is something else. They are not well versed in yugioh 🙃
Unlucky lol. It isn’t that hard to distinguish a starlight and QCR!
But there is difference between starlight and platinum secret rare..very same looking but i am trying to find difference myself
@@galsenekovic I think platinum is quite literally more silver than starlight. Same super sparkle that I love
@@DLegend16 update* they have since been informed and have now given me a much higher total for my trade
@@bannutrition9508 hmm ok makes sense, so platinum is more silver, starlight is with golden shine, makes sense

In the long run, yes
Starlight rare is same 25th ocg or prismatic secret rare ocg
TCG starlight = OCG prismatic secret rare but they’re not exactly the same
They’re basically the same. Starlight rare cards are useless now if they have a 25th century version.
I wouldn’t say useless… but their values have definitely tanked

its happening to every card game unfortunately. if you want cheaper cards, and sicker styles id recommend Pokémon nowadays
個人的にはスターライトの偽物がより多く出回ることを危惧してます
I don’t think there will be more fake starlight rares on the market
Yes. Showcase all your starlights. And give one away in that video lol
lol not gonna give one away but maybe a QCR

wow and yikes
They are basically the same who cares
@@thiccboicory9964 you care because you decided to watch this video :)
Fuck opinions. I hope they keep reprinting high rarity cards with original artwork, and continue to destroy the values of stsrlites.
That’s an opinion too 😂
why though?
