Love this song...So beautiful in how it describes our Lord and Savior. My ten year old knows each and every word. It has been a ministry tool for us to teach him about where those words are found in the Bible, and how God is all these names!! He is the ALPHA & OMEGA!! Praise God for Bill Gaither and all his ministry has brought to us and to God's Glory!!

The first verse and chorus of Alpha And Omega was written by Ivan Parker and I on our 1st anniversary in 1973. Ivan thought there should be more to the song but we didn't get inspiration to write more. The first verse was written in German. The rest of the song was written in French on Easter Sunday in 1997. That part of Alpha and Omega was written by Shawn Obrien and I.

So when a person accepts Jesus Christ has his PERSONAL Lord and Savior, when become entitled to all Jesus has. It is very simple to do. Ask for forgiveness and accept Him. Get into a Bible teaching church. You'll never be the same and you'll never go back!

I was in a quartet that sang this song in church. It was great!! God really blessed. This is absolutely one of my favorite GVB songs.
