I changed my name twice too! Part of my family were not impressed when I changed my surname but it was nothing personal. I also picked a new middle name too at the time (this is because my new surname incorporates my old middle name). Then I bloody transitioned sparking the second name change!
Since working at a call centre I’ve basically been browsing new last names. My current favourite is Cowmeadow. Lovely. I’m not sure if I can use last names from other cultures, but I definitely think British ones are ass for the most part. I’ve also genuinely stopped dating someone before because their last name wasn’t cool enough for me to take, but I’m over that now and just want to choose my own. My sister got a divorce a while ago, and decided to change her last name to bleughh. I’m thinking of joining her on this and we can be the Bleughh family
Damn it is so much eaier to change name in Denmark 😲 You simply logon to a goverment webside with your personal user (very safe) and request the change pay a small fee, and if you new name are not against the name law or totally new it will take around 2 day, and everything from banks, insurance companies to the school will have it changed automatically as soon as the name has been accepted
@@stephanielynnette nearly every interaction with the government can be done through a computer/smartphone.. everything are centralized.. our taxes are done by the system automatically each year, the salary information are send to the tax agency by the workplace, every savings and mortgage you have are reported by the banks and such.. so you get the deductables for those.. the only thing they dont register by default are the travelling cost til and from work which also is a deductable.. we get a summary once a year on the same day, where it says if we have payed to little taxes.. but for the most part it is a very little sum and i have for the last 20 years only gotten money back from the government because i payed too much 😂 Our medical informations are kept in a centralized system, such that the doctor, hospital and all others needing them can get them (under consent) i can see every prescription ever made to me with dates on.. it also make medical studies easier, because we got a high amount of data, and the only thing needed to access it is consent from us to some relevant part of our data.. Right now the CKI (center for køns identitet/center for gender identity) are using data for every transgender person in Denmark that have given consent to study all from the effects of hormons om different age groups, long term usage, and much much more..
