@Tee_Jay88 Supergirl is from Argo City, not Kandor. But then again, she also isn't a cursing alcoholic, so what do I know. DC keeps doing their best to avoid consistency in their lore. Suddenly Krypto is her dog, looks she she might be from the religious guild too. It's like every writer reads one of her comics and then writes on a vibe. Woman of Tomorrow is no exception to that rule.

I thought kryptonians gower from a yellow sun how they powerful everywhere
Their cells absorb yellow sunlight and store it. When Superman is on earth he is always regaining the energy he uses up.
When not under a yellow sun the energy begins to fade away, eventually leading to them becoming no more powerful than a human. And when exposed again to Yellow Sunlight they regain powers but it isn't instant.
They paint it every time...
They aren't. She goes to red star planet gets weaker (probably still very strong), the pursuit leads to yellow star planet (not Earth) she gets Way stronger.
@TheRealMr_Chaos Kryptonians are inherently more powerful than a human. They are much stronger and more durable from evolving on a planet with much more gravity. The Yellow Sun makes them more so and gives them the eye lasers, flight, and assorted powers but they have a Luke Cage level base.
I think their powers become even greater still when they are in the presence of sunlight from a blue star.
I actually low-key want to see this…

And I was disappointed in the last Superman one that you made I won’t make that mistake. If the trailer doesn’t look good, I will not be going to the theater to watch it. This is true in the comics as well. Kara was in an escape pod and stuck in stasis for like 20 years, and Clark grew to be older than her physically despite the fact that she was actually born before him.

It's going to fail because you have to build a character before you deconstruct them. Woman of Tomorrow worked because it built on years of Supergirl stories.
There isn't years of Supergirl stories on film.
