I lived on the Northwestern State campus for two weeks during a church youth conference back in 2009. I loved it there, walked by Turpin Stadium multiple times a day every day. For a time, I actually considered applying there as a result. What's happened with their program, and especially to that particular player, is truly heartbreaking 💔😢 I hope HE rests in peace and that his family finds healing, closure, and justice!

Northwestern State was the first school I legitimately thought about attending (as someone from Oklahoma). There's not a lot of light in Natchitoches, but I'm hoping that there's a great future there. It's such a beautiful place.

@voiceofreason2674: And a hero named Joe Delaney. The Delaney Bowl Campus Spring Game is named in his considerable honor.😊🏈B.W.
