  • The opening to the 1995 VHS release of The Specialist. I own nothing; rights belong to Warner Bros. Entertainment. In order:
    1. The Burning Season ad
    2. Imaginary Crimes ad
    3. Love Affair ad
    4. Silent Fall ad
    5. Hellbound ad (I know, except for Silent Fall, this is a kinda like the Silent Fall VHS, huh?)
    6. The Specialist soundtrack ad
    7. The WB Network ad (right around as it was launched)
    8. FBI Warning screen
    9. Warner Home Video Cheesy Shield (Time Warner Entertainment version)
    10. "This film has been modified..." screen
    11. 1992 Warner Bros. Pictures logo

It looks like they were trying to give Harland Williams a sitcom when the network began (it would later be called "Simon").

I happen to know the black people, especially The Wayans and Steve Harvey and Jaime Foxx were not happy with The WB.

I'm sure there were UPN promos on Warner VHSes, way more. Disney had one for "Doug" in 1999. The WB, a network that was nothing like Warner Bros.. and stupid jackass Tracy Jackson could be pissed all he wants. UPN was closer to Warner Bros.. and my WB network will be a real Warner Bros. network unlike The WB.

I know that UPN was a joint venture between Chris-Craft and Paramount/Viacom and yes PTEN was a joint venture between Chris Craft and Warner Bros. There were no promos for UPN on Paramount movies released on vhs before the network launched not that I know of

Like I said before I respect your opinion, Warner Bros Entertainment owned 64% of The WB and Tribune Broadcasting owned 25% of the WB not all of it. To be honest, I am not exactly sure if Paramount Home Video had any promos of UPN on their movies released on VHS but I know most of the stations that were going to take the UPN Affiliation aired promos before the launch.

@@TracyGJacksonTV Around the same time The WB launched, WPIX was the flagship station of the then-new network, their 10pm newscast was known as the Channel 11 News at Ten.
