    I mistakenly took the screws off the side covers trying to clean the outside of the coil - now the screws won't go back in...why?

    • @alyoungcuda
      @alyoungcuda  Год назад +1

      Alignment issues, take your time to line them up, believe me when a vendor comes to do that, they just zip it into a hole crooked or make new holes. You are trying to get it back to perfect like what I would do.

    What do I do when I fix it, but once my ac turns off and wants to turn on again the fan doesn’t spin once again until I push the reset button and spin it

    Fan run when I spin it then stop when temp is reached but won’t spin the next time ac comes on do you think it’s the fan motor

    • @alyoungcuda
      @alyoungcuda  Год назад +2

      Fan is spinning so that is good, sounds like the capacitor is not giving it the boost or jump start to go.

  • @jl456

    Yeah but some ruud units have 2 capacitors, so which one goes bad?

    • @alyoungcuda
      @alyoungcuda  Год назад +1

      They usually look bloated and fat when they go but if you have 2, change them both out, they are old enough

      @alyoungcuda it was a bad board on the A/C unit. I bypassed the board and now I have A/C the board was preventing the contacters to engage.
