Hey Michael, sometimes it's a defect, but when it happens more than once in such a short time, there's often something going on in your stride. For example, you may be twisting/scuffing the shoe or striding too long, which causes the material to over-flex and separate. Pay attention to it for a few days and see if there's anything going on. You can also use Shoe Goo amzn.to/3PBAdyO to repair separated soles. Make sure to clamp it snugly and let it dry thoroughly.
Thank you so much for this review. I’ve been transitioning to barefoot shoes more seriously for the last few months, and I’m loving it! Today I ordered the primus lite knit and I’m looking forward to trying these out. I’ve watched many of your videos and they’re really good. All the best 🙌
Right on! The Lite's are significantly thinner, so you'll get some excellent ground feel and flex compared to Merrell/Xero. They were my fav road shoes for years. Have fun out there!

The Vibe has slightly better traction due to having some minimal lugs, but they'll wear out a bit faster due to less surface area. But if it's just occasional then they'd do fine.
these are my running casual and parkour shoes theyre great for those uses and are super durable but my double wide feet get a bit squished and the "tongue" folds over itself which is slightly uncomtorable
Oh interesting, the tongue does that for me too, but I assumed it was because my feet are skinny. Maybe try stuffing some newspaper, etc, in when you're not using them to spread out the upper. Sometimes that works.
@@AndrewFolts good idea andrew and yeah its the shoe not your feet i got really high volume feet and the folding still happens to me
Very chic looking what’s not to like about them shoed
Yea, gotta love a knit shoe. So comfy!
Do these shoes run big or small. I am a size 12
They ran true to size for me.
Can barefoot running correct bunions to the point of them completely disappearing?
Possibly, yea. Depends on the severity. My Mom has bunions and barefoot shoes helped her a lot in terms of pain and realignment.
One of my favorites. It is my running shoe.
Nice! Thin sole, comfy, tough...it's ideal for running.
Wait, why did you stop doing strength training with heavier weights and lose a lot of your muscle mass? That might make a good video.
Yea, I'm planning on making a video about that called "skinny strong." Basically I just decided large muscles were pointless and a waste of time/money/energy, as I didn't use them for anything, and I'm much happier just being skinny, which fits my lifestyle of hiking, running, etc.
@@AndrewFolts very cool. I think there is a metabolic benefit of having muscle tissue, but large muscle mass is mostly impractical for most human activity. I do think that strength training is essential for preventing injuries from a lot of running.
@@iakona23 Yea, I mean any moderate exercise is healthy, although I haven't done any strength training in three years and I've had zero injuries, so at least in my case it doesn't seem necessary.
that's great. For me, I seem to need to do strength training to lessen my risk of injuries. But I am not as light as you are.@@AndrewFolts
@@iakona23 Yea, I basically just kind of float along at this point, lol.
Size?
They ran true for me. I'm a 43-44 and the 43 was perfect.
👏👏👏👏👏
Where are these made? China? Bypass then
No, Vietnam.
this is just a straight up advertisement lol
Why, ha? What other info are you looking for?
@@AndrewFolts i was just wondering what the downsides were :)
