Area of a Circle | Beat the Calculator #shorts
#Circle #Math #Area
I had completely forgotten how to calculate the area of a circle. Thanks!
Now you know! ☺☺
@@BeattheCalculator🎉
Me too lol😂
Does anyone realize it’s actually 12.56cm squared
It's still 12.56 (12.568) @@DutchDriverr
Round off
Ye
@@DutchDriverrno if you do that its just the same,12.56cm
@@celesteesmeralda6805 do you not know what rounding is?
Fun fact: if radius is 2 unit then area=circumference
πr²=2πr
Nice! 2 is definitely a special number!
Omg thankyou do much you just made it 100x easier for me
This is really helpful thank
😄😄
You can also use πd²÷4
why would you?
@@andrew_realfr,it's just a more complicated version of the original fomula
Thanks, my teacher was doing this and I forgot how to do it. You helped me a lot thanks ❤
Here to help! 👍
this is great and really helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent job sir nice shorts
Thank you!😄
Thanks am going to take the fast test one week from now so thanks
That’s great! Hope it goes well!
Could you tackle simplifying or easily solving stuff like inverse tan without a Calc, irs something im stumped in and have nearly had mental breakdowns over math lol
How so you do it when you have to leave it in terms of Pi.
When you are asked to leave it in terms of Pi, just plug your radius into the formula πr^2 and that’s your answer. For example, in the video, our radius was 2, so r^2 is 2^2, which is 4. Multiply this by Pi to give 4π square units as the area. Hope this helps!
thx bro i did this in 6th grade and after 3 yrs i was totally forgotten the formula thx
Here to help! 😃
We did this on the 5th grade
isn't Radius = Diameter/2? so if I had Diameter 8, according to your video it would be r(16)*Pi??.
Yep! The radius would be 4, so Pi * 4^2 = 16 Pi.
3.1428
its not 3.142 its 3.141
He had approximated it (round off)
So, it is (π)(r ²) instead of (π)(r) ²? I’m confused because I get two different answers when I do this.
Due to BIDMAS then you shouldn't get different answers. Just make sure you are entering the values correctly 😉
It is π × r × r
This Helped My brothers! thanks 👍
Fantastic! 👍
Sir, what the area of 2.5 cm? Please answer and thank you.
Wouldn’t it be 3.14 times 2.5 squared
19.63
3.141 or 3.142?
I did 3.14 x 2 x 2 and I got 12.56, does that count or nah?
Me too
In the video, we have used 3.142 (a more accurate rounding of Pi) to give 12.57 - the ‘Pi’ button on your calculator should also give 12.57 as the answer - hope this helps! 👍
If it's a diameter should it be halfed
Yep! 👍 The radius is half the diameter; so if you’re given a diameter, just halve it! 😃
Thank you, I was looking for this question 🫢
Can’t you just do 3.14?
Thanks I’m about to go to grade 5 and my new teacher sent us future work we are gonna do in grade 5 and this was one of the things and at first I was confused but now not as much ty man
Great! Fantastic that you’re learning ahead - maths is always interesting! 😎
Thanks man, I completely forgot how to
Teşekkürler hocam!
Sorun değil! İzlediğiniz için teşekkürler! 👍
Thank u
12.56 correct
i think pi is equal to 3.14159
its just rounded
Oh ok
after about three digits in the decimal points your supposed to round it
3.14 😠💢
If I don’t have a calculator Just multiple pi^2 to get the answer!
good but make video by used scale
Thanks for the video I forgot how to do the area of pie but I think pie it 3.141 or 3.1415926535......😅
3.14159
Yep! That's Pi to 5 decimal places. Pi is 3.142 to 3 decimal places.
Just use 22

7
In 5th grade and we were doing a project on area and someone asked how to do the area of a circle, teacher said if someone knew and could explain how, we would have a movie day, so here i am
Cool! 😎
I use 3.14
😂
How are we beating the calculator with this.
3cm
It's 3.141 not 3.142 because it's 3.14'1'59265...
but i think its probably 3.14159 or 22/7
It’s 12.6
Thank you so much I got a perfect score on my exam and K got with hight honors thank you so much❤
Nice work! 👌
I think pi is equal to 3.14 not .142
Pi is an irrational number (basically, a number that never ends) and so starts as 3.14159… and continues on forever. So, to 2 decimal places, pi is 3.14; rounded to 3 decimal places pi is 3.142. We have used 3 decimal places as it is slightly more accurate - hope this helps! 👍
Thank god I search this up I was late to school and they already did the test so the teacher just sent it home with me and I did not study for the test because they only get like what’s the area of a square like WTH like the question was find the area of this square it was 4 and 8 you just have to x because I learned this in 3rd grade
101
To get that area i would need a calculator.
And i would certainly beat it up to get my work done, beCause he is such a stubborn guy
Wrong you will five Wrong value of pie
Wrong not 3.142 its 3.141
It is 3.142 because you would round up
Wait pie is 3.1415
Yes, Pi is 3.14159… But here we’ve rounded Pi to 3 decimal places to get 3.142. Hope this clears it up! 👍
This really helped but I will say it makes no sense even though this is good so yeah
answer is 12.26 not 12.57
Using 3.142 (a more accurate rounding of Pi), or the ‘Pi’ button on your calculator should give 12.57 as the answer - hope this helps! 👍
I get 12.56cm
I calculated 3.142 x 2^2 but still got 12.568 I’m not sure how u got that as ur answer I’m sorry
First, don’t be sorry! It’s cool to make mistakes, because we can make sure we don’t make them again. 3.142 * 2^2 is indeed 12.568. However, in our answer, we’ve rounded 12.568 to 2 decimal places, which gives 12.57! Your answer is correct, we’ve just rounded it! Hope this helps!
by the way you can also substitute pi as 22/7
You could, if you forget 3.142 in the exam; but ideally be sure to use the pi button on your calculator! Hope this helps! 😃😃
pi is 3,14 tho
Me too dumb 😢
Pi does not equal to 3.142
3.14159… This rounds to 3.142 to 3 d.p. - Ideal for when a calculator isn’t around!👍
❤
Pi is 3.141 not 3.142
Pi = 3.14159... Therefore, rounded to 3 decimal places, Pi is 3.142. This gives a slightly more accurate answer, especially when Pi is being squared etc.
But I got 12.568 cm²
Yep! That’s correct - in the video, we’ve just rounded 12.568 to 2 decimal places, giving 12.57! 👍
👎 no
bro the answer was wrong the real answer was 12.56 cm
Hi there! Just to clarify... π * 2^2 = 4π is indeed 12.566... However, in our answer, we’ve rounded 12.566... to 2 decimal places (or else it would go on forever!), which gives 12.57! Your answer is close; we’ve just rounded it! Hope this helps!
It is wrong
Gyat
Not 12.57 it's 12.56 test it you will find out
