Thank You Jeff for this interview (both parts). We've seen @theHindleyStreetCountryClub live on stage 12 times over the past 3 years. They're not a cover band. They're a Song Reinvention Band. They're a Performance Band. Every show lifts you ! Plus, they're just such nice people. Truly appreciative of us as fans !
Jeff Thank You!!! so much for this interview. I have a whole new appreciation for HSCC. Constantine is so similar to Leonid it is all about the love of the music. How fortunate we are there are musicians who love the music and Create such powerful music and videos, we as the viewers are so Blessed. What a fantastic interview I would of never guessed these were one take songs and videos.
@bigtek1537 We've seen @theHindleyStreetCountryClub live on stage 12 times in the past 3 years. What you see and hear each week on RUclips is only a taste of the 2 hour + performance !
Jeff, that was an extraordinary interview. As a 77 year old, I have become an enthusiastic ‘digital groupie’ of HSCC as of early this year and still struggle to express to friends and family [many of whom are musicians] the brilliant and exciting nature of the HSCC phenomenon. Your interview of Con Delo demonstrates what I would call the ‘master entrepreneurship’ that is at the core of his and HSCC’s authenticity and great success. I look forward to Part 2 and very much enjoy and appreciate your channel.
Love HSCC, fantastic artists and best of all they seem to enjoy what they’re doing and have a fantastic energy. I always look forward to Con playing and looking pleased with the results. I appreciate all the work that goes into making the performance come together so perfectly.
We've seen @theHindleyStreetCountryClub live on stage 12 times over the past 3 years and been lucky enough to meet most of the band members after shows. They love what they do. It shows on stage and shows when you talk to them.
Leonid & Friends and HSCC together would be such an awesome treat! i would surely get an overload! So much want to see and meet HSCC someday. For now, i will be seeing, hearing and talking to Leonid & Friends this Saturday down at the Dosey Doe, here in Texas. Thanks Jeff, for this wonderful chat with our Mate Con!
The other side of the HSCC split, SingitLive have done a few songs I've really liked but you can see they have different tastes and I prefer Con's choices a lot more often.. He seems fussier with the right voice for the right song too.
Great interview Jeff. Thanks for showcasing Australian music. The world has missed out for years, albeit a few bands that have risen globally. Keep up with your great work. Looking forward to seeing your next interview. Cheers Rob. Tasmania/Australia
Do yourself a favour Rob if you can. Go see them live. We've seen @theHindleyStreetCountryClub on stage 12 times over the past 3 years. Worth every cent every time !
Great conversation. I always loved listening to the great Hal Blaine talk about his long and illustrious career (that included every ‘big’ name you could think of). And everyone said of Hal how he brought such positive energy to every session he did and how warmly he always spoke of others. Of course, he did well career-wise from it but his true love was the music and the people. There are life lessons in this . . .
To me, HSCC are the best cover performers Constantine!, I really love the way all of you synchronize in all the songs!, minute 18:10, you need to come to Mexico and will change your mind about that comment, here you'll be surprised how people support the bands!, hope to see you and your band one day here!, well done. 👏💪
Great interview! I had just asked you about doing interviews on an email this past week. Really enjoyed hearing about HSCC since I have been following them for some time now. It's alway interesting to hear these cover bands story and how they do their recordings behind the scenes. Thanks for making that happen and look forward to Part 2.
Been to see HSSC twice now, they bring the music I grew up with live. All these original artist are getting on so wont see them again. HSSC keep them and my youth alive. I don't have to grow up :)
This was great! I am very interested in learning more about the background of these groups including Leonid, LLB, etc. Can't wait for Part 2. I listen to music every night before bed and now, often I prefer to listen with you. Your insights and appreciation for different types of music gels with my tastes. I'm sure that by now you're aware that the co-founder of HSCC was Darren Mullen of "Sing it Live" and of the controversy that took place around that whole thing. In the long run I'm kind of glad it happened because we got two wonderful and unique music groups instead of one. What you do is really great for an old musician (77) who lives alone and loves to share his favorite music with someone. (Don't let yourself get. burned out. Take a break once a while. )
I love the respect, positivity and passion you have in your comment. Yes, I'm aware of the "controversial" history of the HSCC but I'm not interested in bringing that to the foreground as it serves no purpose to impower, edify, or elevate anyone. I like how you stated, "we got two wonderful and unique music groups instead of one." You, my friend, understand. I'm so glad to hear that the channel has brought you some enjoyment because this is exactly the reason why I do it. I already have a full time job and this is just a labor of love for me. You are right about taking a break though, hahaha, I really need to put that in the schedule. Much love to you my friend.
I enjoyed the interview Jeff. Congratulations to Con and the HSCC (in our house they are known as ‘our band’). Well deserved, and you are right, it’s in the giving that you inadvertently end up receiving. Intention is everything. You seem like lovely guys. I look forward to part 2.

I'd love HSCC to make single genre concerts i.e. : one night all Disco....another night all Yacht...another night all rock etc....because there are so many great songs that it would be a crime to not play all of them.

Enjoyed the discussion. Con is a hero of my son here in Oklahoma. My son plays trombone and is now killing it due to Con's push to be better!!
