Three month rule is fine honestly there are some day 1 LPs I would rather not have done especially RPG's that are incredibly story driven but Yoshi's Wolley World and Star Fox Zero I would totally watch because it would be a fun time.
wikithefish The thing about RPG's on Day one though is that they can only cover so much in one day, like an hour at the most. As I said in the vlog and to Edward, I like to wait a month, because it gives people enough time to buy and play a bit of the game, and if they don't wanna watch, they don't have to. I MAY do a day-one LP of Star Fox Zero but that's a HUGE maybe.
I think the 3 month rule is very arbitrary. It seems to me that most of the people that start LPs the day the game comes out are the people who are in this more for the money than for the enjoyment of LPing.
Edward Bottle Honestly, Star Fox Zero was the only game I've thought about doing a day-one LP. I tried to do one for Wind Waker HD, but it didn't work out, plus they released the digital copy like 2 weeks before the physical one that I preordered. As I said, I personally go by like a one-month rule, I like to wait enough time for people to at least play the first bit of the game. I mean, not everyone has the money to buy it on day one, so a month is like 2 paycheques, so it makes sense to me.
