I have ASPD and I’m not emotionless per say but people tell me my eyes are vacant and I tend to be somewhat bland, without personality. I feel love like a predator would, I see love as an addictive substance without feeling empathy for the dealer. Guys, I think the reason her Dad wanted a 'Normal' child is because there is an ending in 1980's where Ryoba kidnapped her father and was only forced to be with her. It all makes sense now

And they had a child when he was 43 years old (which means he was under her constant watch over 26 years) - without any chance to escape (people will be killed, he will be hurt badly, going to first step of their "relationships" and police won't believe him because of the lack of evidences), probably constantly getting other people in lethal kind of troubles, since his wife is extremely envious and dangerous throughout all of his lifetime. Which makes his life a living hell - his future was taken away from such an early age, making him a victim for life sentence. Personally, after I played this new mode as Ryoba, I actually felt sorry for her senpai, because, unlike Taro, his feelings and emotions were understandable, but, unfortunately, his case was taken far further from the student life, life was tragically ruined permanently and forever. And seeing how he desperately tries to save his daughter and her possible love interest from this horrible fate is heartbreaking. This made me feel sorry for senpai - unbelievable result for yandere simulator.
I think she genuinely was in love with Taro at first, but after experiencing that feeling of love, it started turning into an obsession. Not an obsession for Taro, but an obsession with the emotion that she felt.

Explains why I would pick Ryoba 10/10 over Ayano and why I always called Ayano the inferior Aishi in comparison. At least Ryoba actually loved her senpai unlike Ayano and her dreaming everyday of Jokichi until she met him and therefore decided to go after him since she thinks the dreams showed her destiny does show that. I'd take Jokichi's spot in a heartbeat.
okay, but I love ayano's childhood. not bc of it's sad, depressing theme, but bc of the idea of her having one. it gives us clarifications, and knowledge of how she came to be rather than just a character you toss on. I agree completely with that, but honestly, this only raises more questions about her mom; I'm pretty sure the yandere in the first set of tapes [previously scattered around the school] is the mom, so that being said, I am curious about what went on that time between when the reporter left the town to avoid being murdered and when he returned to attempt to get revenge. Although this answers the question between whether the reporter was info chan's or yandere-chan's father, considering the reporter wasn't around during her child hood, he is info-chan's. But this only makes me wonder, does info-chan know anything about yandere-chan's mother? and will that cause info-chan to become an actual enemy and not someone who is vying for senpai's heart?
This video makes the entire point of the game clearer. Rather than a psycho teen that wants to be with her crush, she is an emotionless shell that need Senpai to make her feel emotions. She will be with him forever.

Having never experienced jealousy or rage before, Ayano wouldn't know how to cope with that, or where to draw a healthy line of behavior. This should be the official backstory! It demonstrates how Ayano is so desperate for Senpai and will do anything for him. Senpai lets her feel alive, a craving she longed for. How losing him would mean something worse than death. How he is EVERYTHING. How he is her life.

It hurts worse when you read the wiki page and realize ayano thinks of her dad as a pet and would "put him down" if he ever hurt a family member like the mom or other.

In fact, the one who is pretending to be normal the most is Jokichi, Ayano's father, who was actually forced by Ryoba to stay with her (in 1980s lore, before the trial, Ryoba considered to confess her love to him, but after the trial, and after her face was seen in all newspapers, she became too ashamed to confess her love to him, so she kidnapped him and forced him to stay in that house and after, to build a family). So from this we can understand that wasn't happy at all to be in that family, and also he desperately tried to make Ayano happy, because he didn't want her to be like her mother, and to hurt someone else like her mother did to him.
Maybe the reason her dad wanted her to be normal was because the mom was the same way as how Yandere-Chan is going to be. Just as possessive and/or obsessive as her mother.
Geez, I clicked on this video not knowing what to expect, but what I saw was amazing. The art was great, the voice actor did an outstanding job, and the plot fits well with everything we've heard from now since the game started. I'm proud of all the people who worked on this and I hope to see plenty more videos like this one in the future~

I guess you can say Ayano (Yandere Chan) is more or less addicted to the emotions rather than senpai. She describes how she would do ANYTHING to feel real emotions, no matter how bad. Her mother always said she'd find the person who would make her feel emotions. She was only living to wait for that person to come. If senpai was any other person, as long as they made her feel real emotions, it wouldn't matter. In my opinion, she only really wants to feel emotions. I don't doubt that she cares about senpai, but she doesn't care whether or not he accepts her feelings. Deep down, she just wants to be normal.
I love how you have added her backstory! While i'm playing I feel that she is a more alive character in the game (even though she does not feel that way) it actually made me go after Sempi more fiercely.

@@tell4959 I think he just gave up and let her do it, because his future wife kidnapped him when he was a teen (17) and holded him in the basement for a hell of a time with a lot of psychological abuse and threats. And they had a child when he was 43 years old (which means he was under her constant watch over 26 years) - without any chance to escape (people will be killed, he will be hurt badly, going to first step of their "relationships" and police won't believe him because of the lack of evidences), probably constantly getting other people in lethal kind of troubles, since his wife is extremely envious and dangerous throughout all of his lifetime. Which makes his life a living hell - his future was taken away from such an early age, making him a victim for life sentence.
Personally, after I played this new mode as Ryoba, I actually felt sorry for her senpai, because, unlike Taro, his feelings and emotions were understandable, but, unfortunately, his case was taken far further from the student life, life was tragically ruined permanently and forever. And seeing how he desperately tries to save his daughter and her possible love interest from this horrible fate is heartbreaking. This made me feel sorry for senpai - unbelievable result for yandere simulator.

Explains why I would pick Ryoba 10/10 over Ayano and why I always called Ayano the inferior Aishi in comparison. At least Ryoba actually loved her senpai unlike Ayano and her dreaming everyday of Jokichi until she met him and therefore decided to go after him since she thinks the dreams showed her destiny does show that. okay, but I love ayano's childhood. not bc of it's sad, depressing theme, but bc of the idea of her having one. it gives us clarifications, and knowledge of how she came to be rather than just a character you toss on. I love that we get a sort of depth. it makes us sympathize with her, and yet, then we're confused with this murder game to choose which side. sympathy and hate and control. the concept of this game and far it's going, is ridiculously amazing. happy to share my thoughts, keep doing what you're doing!

I agree completely with that, but honestly, this only raises more questions about her mom; I'm pretty sure the yandere in the first set of tapes [previously scattered around the school] is the mom, so that being said, I am curious about what went on that time between when the reporter left the town to avoid being murdered and when he returned to attempt to get revenge. Although this answers the question between whether the reporter was info chan's or yandere-chan's father, considering the reporter wasn't around during her child hood, he is info-chan's.
But this only makes me wonder, does info-chan know anything about yandere-chan's mother? and will that cause info-chan to become an actual enemy and not someone who is vying for senpai's heart?

Geez, I clicked on this video not knowing what to expect, but what I saw was amazing. The art was great, the voice actor did an outstanding job, and the plot fits well with everything we've heard from now since the game started. I guess you can say Ayano (Yandere Chan) is more or less addicted to the emotions rather than senpai. She describes how she would do ANYTHING to feel real emotions, no matter how bad. Her mother always said she'd find the person who would make her feel emotions. She was only living to wait for that person to come. If senpai was any other person, as long as they made her feel real emotions, it wouldn't matter. In my opinion, she only really wants to feel emotions. I don't doubt that she cares about senpai, but she doesn't care whether or not he accepts her feelings. Deep down, she just wants to be normal.
