About Tea Estate
Perched at a height ranging from 1,200 to 1,800 m above sea level, Kausani Tea Estate is a serene stopover that should not be missed. The lush green estate is majestically sprawled over 208 acre and divided into 21 divisions. One can find wonderfully-flavourful organic orthodox tea that has great demand even outside the country. The famous and exotic Giriha’s tea is made from the tea produced here. For those who are interested, visits to the factory to observe the various manufacturing processes can be arranged. The tea garden is located centrally and a number of popular hotels are nearby. This means that it is possible for tourists to take small treks and reach the tea garden on foot. A short drive of 5 km on the Bageshwar road from Kausani takes one to the famous Tea Garden

About Shawl Factory
Kausani Shawls can be purchased from the local market or from the Kausani Shawl factory. One of the stoppages at Kausani. It is a commercialized place with couple of stores selling winter wares, couple of shops selling tea, honey, juice etc. We also visited the shawl factory and could only see some machines.There was a time when this shop was not there in Kausani, i am speaking of 1999. There was no such shop in Kausani back then. If i remember correctly the first time I saw their first outlet was during my visit to the place in 2003. This is the outlet which is on the road to Garur. However, what surprised me pleasantly was to find their swanky new outlet in Kausani estate. Well they do sell woollen items of great quality but now they also sell tea (yes you heard it right, Kausani and Gwaldham is known for their tea plantations), honey and other related stuff. You should visit this outlet in Kausani, especially

About Rudradhari Mahadev Mandir:
Rudradhari Mahadev Temple is an ancient cave-temple. This virtuous place is situated on the banks of river ‘Kosi’. According to a myth, it is believed that Rishi Kuashik meditated for a long time after that this temple was built. Due to its spiritual importance and devotional values, this place attracts a number of tourists along with devotees every year.
You can reach the Rudradhari Mahadev Temple walking 2-3 k.m while penetrating dense forest. A small but clean waterfall adorns the beauty of temple in a simple yet alluring manner, which offers a great soothing and calm environment to relax.
