Thank you for showcasing our rig! We're so stoked to be featured on your channel! Was great meeting up, and hanging out for the weekend. Looking forward to next time!
It was definitely our pleasure! I hope people will take the time to check out your website and RUclips channel. There's some amazing resources on there for any outdoor enthusiast.
I love the ARB touring add-on room! Great mod for privacy and storage!👍🏻👏🏻
Definitely a nice way to expand your teardrop living space.
Great interview with Matt. Did not realize the difference between the inaugural year and the one we have. Obvious cost cutting measures at our expense. Hoping to see Matt at an upcoming Bushwacker event.
The biggest difference that I forgot to mention is that this first wave of trailers had closed cell foam board insulation. I was pretty bummed when they switched to fiberglass.
You guys have more skills in your pinky than I have in my body. Love the tour. 🙂
I've definitely met some really talented people on the road, it's also nice that a lot of the mods are pretty simple to do. Thanks for tuning in!
So awesome! Thanks for sharing! :)
We appreciate you watching!
That’s a sweet setup!
He's done a really good job with one of the original Bushwhackers!
Getting fancy with the opening seconds!! Great video as always
Haha... hoping to continue to improve the video making abilities, I have some awesome help!
Cool to see the legend himself showcased in a video!! :D
Your making me blush!! LOL
It was cool to meet him, he's done more for the Bushwhacker community than most of us combined! He should be making a commission from Braxton Creek....
Magnets!!
@@DIYOutdoorLife come on, my heads already to big as it is! 😂
I noticed that he ran his awning tiedowns to his trailer sides. I was hoping that you would speak about that for a moment. I am going to put in a couple of anchor points on mine for tying to the rig. It makes sense when you can't put stakes in the ground such as if you are parked on concrete or asphalt. Definitely going to use that one. I learn something every day.
Thanks for the great review and love all the DIY stuff featured in this video.
Pat
I can't believe that didn't make the video, he does it with magnets! Rare earth magnets connected to his frame. Thanks for watching!
I actually did a short vid about it - ruclips.net/video/BgG8e1AUjSQ/видео.html
Sweet looking setup. Looking forward to seeing it in person in a couple weeks!
I'm jealous, I want to go back! Have fun!
@@DIYOutdoorLife come on over, you can covoy down with us and the others!
Awesome graphics on that teardrop!
👍 it looks great!
Nice set up 😊
Thanks for watching!
I like those tie downs running to the camper. I did something similar on my Hiker - I installed hitch rings on my fenders and roof racks just in case I need to lash something down. I can post a link if you want. I finally have a few videos up on another channel.
Post the channel! I've been eagerly awaiting...
@@DIYOutdoorLife The channel is called Little Miami Fab. Couldn't think of a better name right now. Little Miami is a river near where I live in Ohio. There are two videos with hitch rings on my Hiker:
D-ring on the rear door: ruclips.net/video/5RNMN7iXB3E/видео.html
Hitch Rings on the roof racks, tongue box, and fenders: ruclips.net/video/cFkXgeMIQLc/видео.html
It will probably be a week or two before I can get more stuff posted. Things coming up include building my own lithium battery, upgrading the hold-down hardware on the Hiker tongue box, a bunch of wiring projects on the Hiker and other stuff, and mods on my F150. I already have some random project videos posted as well as a Hiker trailer first impressions video. Apologies for bad audio in some of the videos. I didn't realize I was using a crappy USB-C to 3.5mm adapter on my phone until well after making some of the videos.
@@major__kong awesome, I'll binge out tonight! No worries on the audio, I understand the joys of making RUclips videos! Lol
