- Hi everyone, today I show you how I have greatly improved this TE-52 from Harley Benton, in addition to changing the pickups with ORIPURE, the following changes have been made:
1) Tusq Graphtech nut and string depressor
2) Bridge and control plate by Aldrige (with brass saddles)
3) Locking Tuner's by Guyker
4) New Pickguard (White)
5) Oripure Alnico V Tele Neck
6) Oripure mini humbucker Alnico V bridge
7) new electronics with treble bleed and push pull tone for mini humbucker split
I like the slight break up sound of the Roswell's as well as the clean pure sound of the Oripure's .......decisions.🤔
I don't 'hear' a big difference with the pick-ups as the new ones just sound a bit darker and less crispy. . I like the Roswell's. The original tuners are pure crap. So I'll change these and maybe the nut. For the rest even unshielded my TE-52 makes less noise than my Fender Strat MIJ !
neck bridge is better low end, more balanced in oripure and darked like a neck pick up, and bridge pickup is less crispy because is a hot rail pickup that its like a humbucker
I think the oripure pickups sound clearer, good job!
Thank you so much :-) yes! Oripure are perfect!!!
The brass sadles make sounding better. Goog job!!!
Wow, that sounds amazing now!
bought a few modding Tele's in recent months...putting in Fralin, Lollars, McNelley....and to be honest, the Rosewell's are quite decent....better than the decent-enough Squier CV50 pups. Waiting on a set of Bootstrap Palo Duro to drop in my new TE-52.
I like the roswell more
Nah, I disagree. If you're looking for clearer, dynamic sounds, the new pickups establish that.
Same opinion in crunch and overdrive, but in clean I prefer the new pickups.
Oh MY GOD🎩🎸 MASTER WORK
Dude it looks and sounds so good! Where did you get the pick guard??
Not noticing a huge difference in the neck pickup, but the bridge upgrade definitely adds a lot more clarity and depth.
Nice Dream Theater tunes ! New pickups sounding nice.
thank you so much :-) \m/ yes, Oripure pickup's are perfect with quality/price
Roswell sounds 5 time better man!
Should I buy a Fender Vintera 50 Vintage Tele pickups? What do you think about this?
Oripure pickup's are Alnico 5, Vintera Pickup's are alnico 2 - 3, Alnico 5 is more brillance and "powerfull"
Ottimo lavoro, bravo.
A huge improvement all around. The guitar sounds much better, and looks better too.
How did the bridge pickup 'coil split' workout. How much did the upgrades cost approx?
Thank you so much :) \m/ all mods around 450 euro
Great, many thanks! ;)
I like the Roswell more
I agree
Oripure pickup has more harmonics. Good choice!
Grazie mille 🔥🤟😎🔥
yes ! a bit better thanks to that point, but overall same sound.
Where did you find that white pick guard. Everyone I bought doesn’t fight right on this guitar
Did you buy a new pick guard or just paint it? I was thinking of buying a pickguard but don’t know if it’s shaped different. Would be ok if I only had to drill a couple holes and not all 8 or whatever it is.
New pickguard
Where did you find a new pickguard for this from? It's so hard to get them in the Harley Benton screw slot positions. :(
custom pickguard from ebay
What pick guard did you buy ?
handmade pickguard from ebay
What size are the holes for tuners?
10mm new, 08mm stock
Hi, which model of Tusq nut have you used ? Thank you!
Hi, I mounted this redir.love/thoprod/354961?partner_id=41540 but I made some changes because the radius of the Te52 is 14 "so flat, so I suggest you this which is a" generic "ST https: //redir.love/thoprod/453523?partner_id=41540
@@Leodileoguitar it is 305mm radius 12 inches. Thomann made a misprint and wrote 350mm, hence the confusion.
better low end in neck oripure.. bridge oripure has good sound but is hot rail, sounds like humbucker, different to single coil tele bridge for compared both
nice pc in back lol
In my video "Big Foot Guitar solo" wity my fender strat , you see it better 😆🎸🔥
...and so all these upgrades sums up to the cost of a Fender player Teler?
Hi, I think the cost of all the materials included does not exceed 250 euros (bridge, pickguard, tuners the owner of this guitar ordered separately, so I don't know exactly how much they cost) so 159 + 250 = 309 euros, less of a Squier CV but with more quality of materials (remember that the CV has the body in Nato while the Te52 is in Swamp Ash) and top electronics, with the modernity of the 14 "radius that certainly makes it more versatile than a canonical Tele. The owner of this guitar was very satisfied with the result and is always telling me that now the Te52 has reached the sound and quality levels of an American Fender (which he owns).
@@Leodileoguitar it is not Swamp Ash, it is Northern American Ash which is a denser, heavier wood. hence the frequent comments of "too heavy" Average being 4.5kg.
14" radius is not necessarily more versatile. Flatter is ok for leads but worse for chording.
@@Lo60mk ahahahaha true, sorry, However, it is still convenient (for me) 😏
the new neck pickup is really better than the original (which is a crap)
Yes, the roswell sound "too closed"
Sounds the same
You tube compresses and reduces the bandwidth of the audio signal which is why sound comparisons are never accurate.
@@georgemacdonald3087the compression on RUclips is different depending on your level of viewership. The more views your channel has the better the compression, so that's not an accurate statement.
I did hear a big big difference with descent pair of head phones, good job, thsnks
@@yargnad Nevertheless it is still compressed to a degree and most people are listening through speakers which are less than optimum.
