It's really interesting how in the beginning of the song, Seam seems somewhat composed, but still angry at Jevil, but after Jevil attacks him, he loses the composure, and his voice cracks as he loses his shit at Jevil. Probably overthinking it, though

I mean, of COURSE you'd be in a hell ton of pain once your eye gets gouged out by your best friend that you've trusted for years.
Really love how this looks, especially jevil's little animations when he says words, not to mention that this sounds very cool and chaotic in the best way, also love the voices. All around amazing work!!

Just noticed something about Jevil, after he attacks Seam he keeps his Devilsknife out while his animations play out. After a little bit of that his animations turn back to normal showing that Jevil was just playing around and only saw the attack as part of the fun.
Well Seam did say Jevil was the only one who could match him in the games they used to play. Who's to say it was just checkers and Mario Kart?
What if Seam saw fighting as playing too, similar to Jevil, but as with all stuffies, they have a limit to how rough you can be with them...

@@mrbigsta4221 I've been a little suspicious of Seam since my first playthrough...-He says he matched Jevil, he never leaves his shop, and you never really see any part of him apart from his head (except for in the Light World, but not all characters look like their Light counterparts) and some of the things he says really pique my curiosity about him. Some other things I've thought of is what if he's actually a part of his shop or something? Or he's actually like crazy buff or something? (That thought came to me more recently, but now Buff Seam is in my head and I'm not sure how I feel about it XD)

_I feel sad for Seam, losing his supposed long-term friend to some random guy who "enlightened" jevil on the world ( _*_causing jevil to no longer take death/injuries serious and for him to no longer really care for his actions or how they affected people_*_ ). Its honestly fucked up seeing Seams reaction throughout the whole thing. I can practically feel his emotions. The somewhat determined, disappointed, and cautious look at the beginning. But near the end his expression changes to more angered/confused expression. The pained look of sadness in his eyes as he tries to banish his only friend he had for a while ( _*_besides the Regulars at the shop I think_*_ ) into a prison cell for what might be eternity, wishing he didnt have to do this. The way his face crinkles in pain, the tear in his left(?) eye, His body movements getting more desperate and strained after Jevil attacks him._

1:20 this is honestly my favorite part in the song I love the motif of don’t forget and the way the pitch changes sounds amazing
This is super cool! I love the rotating notes, and how Jevil is just dancing along to the music for the whole song.
If I could make one small suggestion, I feel like Jevil attacking Seam would have more impact if Seam had more of a reaction to it, e.g. a shocked expression when he takes out the scythe, or clutching at their face after being attacked. But it's still very good as it is!

You know, while chapter 2 is much better then chapter 1 in a lot of ways, I think the one thing chapter 1 has over it is the atmosphere.
I absolutely love the aesthetic and feeling of chapter 1.
few days ago I replayed deltarune for nostalgia and I agree with you
chapter 2 just had so many moment that I had to load a save file just to record them and just chapter 2 was very nice
but chapter 1 had that feeling into it, I don't really know how to discribe it but I like the atmosphere of chapter 1 more than 2

This is just so beautifully crafted. The mechanics are fitting, the spites are expressive, and the music really reminds me of jevils encounter where it starts off mysterious, chaos happens and you fight for your life, then it goes back to this uneasy myseriousness before jevil is done for. Excellent!

This could be Seam trying to seal Jevil away like how he said he did in his dialog from Deltarune. However, In my head cannon I think this is Seam freeing Jevil and trying to convince him to join society again and regain his sanity. Too bad Jevil ain't havin' none of that.

I just beat the song on Chaos difficulty, this is definitely one of the best Jevil themed songs that's not just The World Revolving with BF vocals.

There is a small detail i noticed that when Jevil pulls out the devil's knife Séam gets a scar on his right eye which gives an explanation why his right eye is a button in game.
By that small detail it shows that it takes place when Séam "caged" Jevil before the events of Deltarune

This is definitely one of my favorite mod songs. This whole mod is super creative and this song just goes all out, the carousel, the spinning notes, the rating bar acknowledging that botplay is enabled. Amazing. The song is wonderful too, very chaotic which i would hope it is cause its jevil. And the part where the Deltarune theme comes in is heavenly. Wonderful, wonderful work here.
After listening to this a bunch over and over, I realized how much I *really* want a version where MissingNo (from the Hypno's Lullaby mod) and Jevil sing together (either on this song or MissingNo)

I love how after being slashed, Seam’s voice cracks up and they also have a tear in their eye in all of their sprites (except for idle animation)
Something i just recently realized about jevil's catchphrase "i can do anything!", it has a double meaning that nobody else seems to have picked up on. Of course, it makes sense in a literal way as he represents the joker card, which can take the place of any card in most card games. But it also makes sense in a more metaphorical way, as when he learned of the world's true ways from the mysterious person, that it's all just a game, and nobody can change fate, etc., he learned that he can do whatever he wants, since it won't matter in the end, so why not a bit of chaos, chaos? It's brilliant, and I'm suprised I've never seen anyone else talk about this aspect of his character.
I've noticed that too, I just think people don't talk about it too often, cause trying to explain fourth wal breaks without destroying the fourth wall can be a bit tricky...

@@glavenus0825 It's red checker with dog's face on it and little legs. With crown on it, becomes K.Round. Also, in this state its legs become big and buffy, as the whole body. Can be encountered twice during Chapter 1 - 1) after solving puzzle with tiles and time and reuniting with Susie; 2) in Card Castle. Rouxls brings it. (I hope I explained it right)

I really like 1:18 because it sounds like jevil is trying to convince that he feels better and nicer but seam doesnt buy it thats why jevil says metamorphisis before to try to convince seam hes changed
Gotta love how jevil is so over the top, and you can see why noone could keep up lol.
Also how Sean's voice gets kind of weak and out of tune when his eye is cut, along with how he kind of avoids singing back harder parts of the song near the end.
Seeing how Jevil attacked Seam made me think that maybe in response Seam could just attack back clawing Jevil, making him drop the button Seam patched onto himself, reminding him of why he has a darker, yet darker view of the world.
What i like about this mode is how it's Seam and Jevil's fight where Seam sealed Jevil in the prison cell and that Jevil sometimes has his voice lines from the game used in the background.
Also the parts of The World Revolving and few other Deltarune songs are in this track.

Something I find interesting about this song is showing a side of Jevil I rarely see things explore.
Most Jevil stuff I see focuses on him being silly, or how hard his fight is, or depicting this event as sad and angsty.
But here, Jevil feels... sinister, dangerous. Like he has a menacing aura about him. Really helps put you in Seam's position, since they don't know or understand what's even happening with Jevil, who's become violent enough to slash out one of their eyes.
Sometimes im trying to make cartoon chromatics but I cant find any of them yelling a vowel for a long amount of time very impressive that you managed to make those chromatics!
For Seam's chromatic I actually asked a friend to record the vowels himself, and as for Jevil, I sampled Camilo from Encanto singing. So it was easier to find held vowels.
So my tip for finding samples for chromatics is: try and find a clip of that character (or one that sounds similar) singing and sample it from the isolated vocals. If they don't sing then uhhh... watch a lot of clips and hope to find a good one, I think lol

Seam and Rouxls Kaard are the only characters voiced by Revtrosity. That is the reason I like Seam and Rouxls Kaard. Their personalities remind me of Julius the squirrel and Wilma the ferret from The Flight Before Christmas.

When Jevil said "Chaos Chaos!", that hit different
