I have 30” cryptic on my 2020 xtp max and they rub with 9” on the front. The rear I removed the reflectors and fronts flares I trimmed like you. Fronts still rub once in awhile. Tires look great 👍
Mmmm, the rear reflector. Never thought about that. Had my daughter on the back last weekend and had had rubbing in the back. I'm going to check that out. Lol...thanks. that's the only time iv heard it rub in the back. My front rub so bad I try not to ride it much until I get the a arms.
did you have to do anything to the clutch (a clutch kit)? I have a 2017 renegade 1000r and im thinking of putting these tires on it (40% trail, 40% mud, 20% road) what do you think?
Great tires. I had to add floorboards to make them fit. And a cvtech clutch. Subscribe to my channel and check out my videos. . All the mods are on RUclips. Thanks for watching.
Should do a comparison of the xmr to the xt, speed, how smooth, clearance, if it wheelies or pulls more then the other. I’m interested in getting one but I’m not sure what would suit best!
The xt pulls harder but its a 1000 and the xmr is an 850. The xmr has more clearance stock. I lifted mine and put the big tires on it and the xmr still has a bit better clearance. The xt rides way better than the xmr. If I could turn back time I'd probably just get the xmr. The xmr has speed and rev limiter. It tops out at 105kph. My xt topps out at 125kph.
Hey how is your machine holding up? I am in the market for a new ATV but keep hearing about how can ams have great motors but the rest is not up to par?
They each have pros and cons. The outbacks measure a true 30 inches the cryptids dont. The outbacks are heavy the cryptids aren't. The outbacks are better on the trail due to 4 more V treads than the cryptids. And the cryptids have more vibrations on hard pack cause the treads are farther apart, and they clean out a bit better. I should do a video comparison. Thanks for watching.
I was talking to lockhearts odyssey last week. I made an appointment for next week to buy either the 2020 xtp850 or the 2020 1000xt. Any recommendation? I’m kinda leaning towards the xtp850. You Think the 1000R is worth it to get the Xt suspension?
Iv never sat on an xtp. I'd suggest sitting on both to see what u like better. 850 is still a crotch rocket with 4x4. The 1000 however is more than you really need. But nice to have. I think an 850 with an aftermarket clutch would balls to no end. But I cant comment on the suspension. I put spring spacers on my xt. It's not granny Cadillac smooth anymore. But smoother than my sons 850xmr.
Price around before you give them a sale. I got my 1000xt for a bit less than a friend got his 850xt for at lockharts. I bought mine from delta power in seaforth.
Robert Miller they have one 2019 1000xt left but it’s only $500 cheaper then the 2020 1000xt. I don’t think they changed anything in that year maybe when I talk to them Tuesday I’ll see best deal I can get on the 2019
Lol. I'd be surprised if u get anything out of them. I know ppl that bought new quads there and couldn't get a free keychain from them. I got 2000 knocked off the price of my 1000. And came home with a bunch of free stuff. I bought a used quad from lockheart, they wouldn't budge a penny on the price. I'm not putting them down. Nice ppl. But they do a lot of business, and stand firm on their prices. But maybe sales are down now with this whole pandemic thing and they will negotiate. Hopefully. Let me know how you make out.
I haven't ordered the offset A arms yet. I was off work for a bit during the pandemic. So the quad is the same as it was in the video. I hope to be finishing the build within the month. The plan is the new A arms and cvtech clutch. So stay tuned
So I was doing some looking around, instead of ordering offset a arms, there’s a guy on RUclips by the name of cheechin diesel that installed some metal foot wells that actually allow you to go up to 32” tires. Now I’m not sure how it will work out with 10” wide tires but it seems like it works with his outty. Check it out! Cheers!

Hello. Could you install those tires on the XTP original rims which the front side smaller width
LOL I see at the end of the video you already have the 2-in lift kit and they still rub after trimming wow
Thank you for your videos ! You helped me out on a couple of my decisions .
Thanks for watching!!
Endless trails here in Colorado.
Keep it up and she'll be telling you to put heat in the garage 😉, might be the new dog house. LoL 😂
Lol, its my happy place anyway.
Heard!
I have a 2019 can am outlander XT Max 850. Love it!
Love mine too. Expensive hobby. But so much fun!
@@RobMillerATV I am single and I don't have to get a kitchen pass anymore to go play. LoL 😂
Would it have been cheaper to do a 2-inch lift kit?
There wasn't a lift available for the 19 with sway bar at the time. I couldn't even get the forward offset a arms for it.

So far all iv broken is a shock. 2600km on it now.
Love the video. With the 10 tires did you have to add wheel spacers?
No wheel spacers. But I'm adding floorboards. Video will be up in a couple weeks.
Would you recommend these tires over cryptids?

Robert Miller try getting them to add a rjwc single slip on and a tuner. That’d be nice lol

How did this build turn out? I’m trying to get more ground clearance out of my 19 outlander xt and no one seems to have a solution.
I haven't ordered the offset A arms yet. I was off work for a bit during the pandemic. So the quad is the same as it was in the video. I hope to be finishing the build within the month. The plan is the new A arms and cvtech clutch. So stay tuned
Where could a guy order a set of the offset a arms?
Dirty life sells them. Talk to Trevor.

Say goodbye to the clutches
Already did lol.
Nice
Thanks
What offset are your wheels

Just get some 2 inch wheel spacers it is a lot cheaper
Wheel spacers wont help. Its definitely a hight problem.

Lol much has been spent since this video.
Good one feller, hahaa
