Rae Sremmurd member Slim Jxmmi joined VladTV to have a detailed discussion on his life and career. The multi-platinum hitmaker described moving around as a child due to his mother's military career before settling in Mississippi. Jxmmi talked about pursuing his musical career, along with his brother Swae Lee, at an early age while working regular jobs and battling homelessness. Despite the setbacks, Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee eventually moved to Atlanta, where they met Mike Will Made It and recorded their breakthrough hit, "No Flex Zone." After signing with Ear Drummers and Interscope, Rae Sremmurd would go on to release a string of major hits. Coming from Mississippi, I give a lot of love to Jxmmi and Swae. I've been to Sremmfest every year they had it. But Jxmmi put off too many questions or just answered a lot of questions with "ya it was crazy". Like bro elaborate, what particularly happened that was crazy? He acted like all he wanted to even talk about was his new album but then every time Vlad asked about the new album Jxmmi acted like it was big secret and he didn't want to divulge any information. Jxmmi if you want people to love you as much as Swae, open up, let the fans in, stop being closed off, you got hella personality you just cant be shy to show it and you got to let that shit run
