The thing about starting with SYSF is that it seems like Trey really wants to drive home that these new songs are here to stay, they are staples now in the set. They are taking pains to really jam them out and dig into them as well, which endears those songs to the fans that want more and more extended jamming.

Yeah man I’d say so far when I woke up this morning to see the rest of the set I just thought “I mean…it could’ve been worse”. Most of these nights have been great, but this one was just ok imo. Zapp’s gotta good point though, that taste was pretty scrumptious.

Not a fan of this show. My wife hates phish but likes Steam. On paper, this might be the worst setlist I've ever seen. Some of my favorite Phish songs are not "Phish" songs, but cover songs that they have made their own. Crosseyed, Boogie On, Rock and Roll, Peaches, Walk Away, Drowned, Cities, Roses Are Free, Sneaking Sally, 2001, GTBT, Frankenstein, all those Fishman songs...
I’d be so mad if I paid 1000 bucks for a sphere ticket and they open with set your soul free. That has to be one of their worst songs. I don’t care if it’s a jam vehicle.
