And every 2D Sonic needs a mechanic where the screen moves ahead a little when you're moving really fast so you can see where you're going (like what Sonic CD did). With speed like this, and with visibility so limited in a 2D space, the camera being a little nicer would be great.
Hey! Thanks for the criticism! I just tried to add the camera shift and it actually works pretty well! As for the lack of enemies, this demo was a simple dev build! It uses the default menu from the framework haha And then the levels, despite being playable and complete-able, are basically empty and lack both enemies and gimmicks.

Animation was great like early sega saturn cinematics but gameplay disappointing, but it least it still goods good, i thought it would be like a sonic jam like environment gameplay
The good: The cutscenes are fabulous. Very well animated. The sprite work is good and nicely animated. The story has some great potential if they keep working on it. The bad: The level design could use some more work. The music in act 2 cuts off and resets itself.
Sorry it aint up to your tastes! Can't make any promises on whether you will like the future style or not since cutscenes are getting revamped, but hopefully it will be better!
I installed SE before but it came with this weird glitch where the screen becomes so small that only baby ants can see it properly. Please help me with this glitch 😫😫😫 Edit: Also for some reason the old version was installed instead of the new one

My favorite part is how the scary Sat Am Robotnik theme slowly transitions to the silly Adventures Robotnik theme.

So many fan game dubs love the super peel out, and I just don't get it. The spin dash (sonic 2 and later) always outclassed it.
Yes, in many circumstances but sometimes the super peel out can be useful, especially going up big ramps that spin dash can’t achieve.
