Doctor sahab this is an invaluable historical document, thank you very much for uploading it. I agree that the last two minutes are difficult to listen to, but what's even more heartbreaking is that nothing has changed in the last 50 years for artists who fall on hard times. Allah Umeed Ali Khan sahab ke darjaat buland karay, he was a colossus of music.
So sad to listen the last words of such great classical singer. The government dis not help him. All the Pakistani artists faced such like satuation relating to financial crises.
Kya nazuk wakt ki tasweer kheenchi, partition kay baad sub rang aur raag bikhar say gaye.. Aur ye nazuk fun ki bhi dachiya oodi, 😢😢, bohot say log doosray professions may bhi gaye.. Kuch baher bhi chalay gaye. Rahay naam Allah ka.
I would most humbly request you sir to delete this interview. The man was the most renowned and successful artist in his prime. The interview, however, shows how helpless he got after getting paralyzed.
@@khursheedabdullah2261 I agree that history cannot be changed and we, as a nation, have always neglected our heroes, which is quite heart wrenching.😞 Ustad Umeed Ali was also one such unsung hero. Fearless Gawaya as he was, he exchanged swords with Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan as well as Ustad Ashiq Ali Khan. He was a proud son of an illustrious father and lived like a prince, but then got paralyzed while performing in Afghanistan. His downfall was akin to the downfall of Icarus. Anyway Sir, your services to preserve the recordings of such great artists cannot be overstated. However, the request I made was out of love for this Bhot Bara Gawaya, but you are right sir😞

During this interview khansahib was suffering from deafness caused by paralysis
Ustad Umeed Ali Khan Allah Ghariq e Rehmat Karey. Pakistan will never change. Shameless nation.

This is history ! Deleting this interview will not change the fact that we as a nation tend to neglect our real artist.
