If you search his channel there is a video from about a year ago where a person in chat challenged him to the same 3 peasant tower rush and grubby beat him twice and explain a more in depth way to do it in both games
I had a very bad dream today. I was nightelf and attacking an orcbase. I had a group full of hunts and 3 groups full of zerglings for some reason and a lvl 5 keeper, i send everything for full frontal attackmove except 1 group of zerglings i perfectly diverted into his worker. he had like 10 berserkers and 5 katapults. and all my units just died. at the end of the fight his completely underleveled lvl3 blademaster grew to lvl5 and his SH grew to lvl 4. then i ragequit and uninstalled. my dreams are very detailed^^ (except for the zerglings whose presence was a bit questionable)

Incinerate kinda makes sense in bear vs bear, since they're so damn tanky you have a lot of attacks to stack up the damage and focus down individual bears. Soul burn stops the mana burn on approach. I don't know if it's actually good but that game sure made it look viable at least.
Soul burn is usually a meme ability as it gets dispelled very easily and waste a lot of mana
31:10 So a 13-15 frame spot where Blademaster picks up Scrourge Bonechimes and Grublord instantly sees it while BM is lit up with spells and he's microing his army forward lol
tbf, the aura is quite distinct, 1 glance and u know what it is, hes been playing this for 20 years xD
@@majormajorasic vampiric aura is pretty distinct purple whereas aura like brilliance or command aura is the hardest to see imo

whenever i played the 3 peasant towerrush i used to build the towers behind the goldmine so that no ancient of anything could ever attack them. always worked for me
they would probably block you with wisps

i mean they have magic attack which should be good vs bears + good control vs dh and bears. Interesting at least, no?
buff it with upgrades and auras (like TC aura) and it's like a cinematic magic war from a movie. hehe
Shaman can be staple unit but a critical amount of them to effectively kill bear is just asking for transition to dryad. Since bears and dryad are built in same building, to counter dryads with head hunter or (lol) wyverns is a huge tech change
Love how he explains how you don't have to kite like clem then just flexes on the human on how good his archer micro is
I think what he means is that if you can’t micro them perfectly, don’t and just move back instead of trying to stutterstep

As a Nelf player, I think the one thing people miss when thinking they are OP is that Nelf is absolutely fucked the moment the moonwells run out.
The thing is that good Nelf players make it look and feel like they always have juice, but if you see the actual mana levels it can be very enlightening and Nelfs have no other way to heal (druid heal is strong but single target and very expensive mana wise, most of the heal gets wasted on nearly any unit as they don't have the health pool to make such a huge heal worth it).
Thanks for being honest about your frustration towards elves. But Lyn somehow handles them easily each time, even moon. Moon doesn't even go DH or bears. So there's a reason for your loss or his win somewhere. Maybe just be better than Lyn)

Recently watched how Moon easily defended this vs Sky in their recent lan tournament in China. Moon went Pit Lord first. Reign of fire cleared all peasants and towers super quick
I was the human player in the first game lol. I did find a counter to that just fast build altar get alchemist with heal spray to heal peasants. But vs kotg this strat very hard to work.
@@cas6576 Didnt know that its possible to get an altar and a hero in time before the towers are destroyed and peasants dead. If thats the case then why not do it every time? Any hero to support is better than no hero to support. Also, maybe one arcane tower instead guard tower would be better? 🤔

I just thought it would be nice to have an option to toggle where your main building makes a builder at the start.

Grubby, what if Blizzard wants to troll you, and have patched the game so when you specifically play with Orc vs. Elf, the elf get 10% more gold, so you can lose and get pissed off, and so Blizzard can evil cackle in the background? :)

This is more of a newer player question, but for beating the campaign on hard but never played online, is it very difficult to get some of the portraits?
Don't know about portraits, but some story missions are harder than average online matches because they require certain strategies to work that you have to know of that are also specific to missions
As undead player I hate playing human. Now playing human I realise how actually exploitable they are; how tier 3 dependant and how lumber heavy they are. Just smash base asap over and over and win easily; ofc can’t beat ten towers though but most players are greedy and noob, no towers or too many towers

I lose to orc all the time even at silver :D
They kill me by focusing bears and bm doesn't care and kill archers/hunts.
Why do Wyvern players focus bears/tanks when any other target is either easier to kill or is a greater threat?
They don't even hit & run to use up the 40 dmg poison, just mass attack like they have Gryphons instead.
Many of them also push/rush when they can farm neutrals much faster than NE can with bears (tanks).
They can even damage enemy expos much easier as they have the mobility advantage.
The problem isn't that we think that Wyvers are good, they are balanced and even a bit bad, it's just that many players don't use up their actual potential.
But bears will level your base in 30 seconds. Wyvs do not level an elf base as fast
@@FollowGrubby This is a reason more to take only few wyverns, not amass them.
If we take the similar setup of armies (Wyv + Raider + Kodo + heroes VS Bears + Dryads + heroes), I assume the Orc would have more damage output.
So not sure if viable due to the Dryad posions and the Entangle, but wouldn't it be better to outrun and damage their bases separately ... pillage & run .. or pillage only when they attack your base so they are the ones that need to go back ... before the pillage, use the time to farm creeps faster than them.
