Quick question from an aspiring landscaper/ business owner: in your opinion, what are the three basic pieces of equipment starting off with no experience and minimal collateral? Thanks in advance! Great channel/ vids!!

Great question! It actually something I learned very quickly after mowing my very first lawn. Obviously a mower of some kind (21in is going to be most likely), a string trimmer, and a blower (either handheld or backpack will be fine). These are the big 3 that are absolutely nessessary.

According to some of my clients, lawn care has a huge turnover rate, they just stopped showing up, so don’t down play it bro, not everyone can do lawn care lol

That's right! This mowing grass thing isn't difficult in itself but the other elements involved usually keep those not suited from being succesaful

" Easy money " , Ha ! I suppose that is a personal opinion and depends on the yards you mow. Don't know about the rest of you guys but I come home after dark most nights and feel like a five year old tennis shoe . . . . plum worn out ! Other than that . . . eeh , it has it's good and bad days ! Just remember to keep the mower with the blades down , you'll be ok !

Oh no! I quickly found out mowing for other people is not easy money. That's what I thought in the begining though

I’d say the janitorial end is not rocket science. However, if you want true success and a huge advantage over the competition, educate yourself in the science of the industry. Research or take classes in plant identification, pruning techniques, soil, insect identification and control and plant pathology.
Good luck out there full time!
