Great perspective. I think Michael Smith, when he won the World Championship went into celebration mode and hasn’t found his form because he achieved what he wanted to. Luke, on the other hand, recognizes that this is not just a pub game, it’s his career and has not lost focus. Of course, the other Luke is amazing and doesn’t need to practice as much to play magnificently, unlike Michael Smith.
Also, I really appreciated his answer to camaraderie and friendship among competitors, putting the game of darts in perspective to contact sports. It’s much like golf, in that aspect. What’s the point of a hostile attitude when you’re not trying to put your opponent on the ground? Cheers.

@@lukesimpson3080 Yea, he is. When was he not? I don't recall an interview where he wasn't. When he loses and even when he's mad he still reflects on the match in a humble way, he's hard on himself most of the time but I've never seen him speak ill about opponents or other players.
