I've just fixed the same problem. After having bought the bike used, from a dealer 30 months ago. I thought the underseat flexi rubber seal that seals the gap between the seat and the luggage box, which wasn't in place but just lying loose in the box, had fallen off. I just spent time removing the old glue and superglueing the seal back into it's channel, only to find the seat won't latch- so now I know why the seal had been removed😢. Anyway I cannot be bothered to take half the bike apart so I removed the latch from under the seat, it's symmetrical so turning it makes no difference. What does make a difference though is putting a bit of flat plastic spacer into the place where the latch plate fits such that it leans backwards when bolted back in and thereby engages with the latch. Job done in 10mins😊.

I think its not about quality Its the position of the lock underseat its more outwards that why i made this video after putting washers no problem at all

Not nonsense. I have the same problem on my 2022 350 Forza. It does eventually become irritating trying to secure the seat several times a day! Great fix & I’ll do the same to mine later.

Mechanism should work its the same, only that you put spacer to reach or near to the u shspe hook of the upper seat
Could the seat latch on the underside of the seat not have been turned through 180 degrees to get better alignment?
