A Tibetan legend and The Supramental Body --

According to a Tibetan legend ,first humans had seven features ; Spontaneous Birth ,an immeasurable life span ,all sense faculties ,a body pervaded by its own light , major and minor marks of a Buddha , sustenance by food of Joy without eating coarse food , and the ability to magically fly in the sky .
(So Supramental like body had existed in the Beginning !,That means Supramental evolution is nothing but going back and attaining an original body which was pure and unsullied ,as it was not involved in the grossness of material existence .)
All this changed , however , when humans began to eat coarse food , then , the unrefined part part of the food turned into faeces and urine , and the male and female organs protruded as openings for elimination.
At this time a male and female who lay together connected these organs , and a sentient being formed in the womb . These are the steps through which birth from a human womb evolved .

In Indian mythology , this stage of human evolution , is called beginning of Maithuni Srishti (creation through procreation) , the birth from the womb .
According to another story early females had no menstrual cycles , the menstrual cycle began only when , the human females took on the ,part of negative karmas of Lord Indra (of killing a Brahmin -Brahma Hatya ) .
In Jain mythology ,they talk about the early females only gave birth to male - female twins at the end of their lives and these twins sustained their lives with the help of Kalpa Taru ( the Wish Fulfilling Tree -that means sustenance by the food of Joy -of Tibetan legend ) .This Kalpa Taru in Christian mythology is known as the Tree of Life , in the Garden of Eden.
