Hmmm I don't know, I always kept a shotgun for mutants instead of a sniper but if you can manage mutants with your AK and don't mind throwing ammo away then it's pretty dope
Sometimes i do use a shotgun dpending to which area I go to. I then just change my scope to a Mark F and use it as a all round weapon. This the RD 47 I am using in this video. Love my Ak,s to for early game.
