DIRTBIKES ON THE WOR GOLF COURSE & BUSTED KNEE - WOR Enduro events

- Enduro Travel R and the boys headed to the Golf course on the enduro dirtbikes and ride the Steve Ireland WOR Enduro Event. Its the first time i have ridden a Steve Ireland WOR event and it was definitely the first time i got to rip the KTM EXC 300 TPI Six Days across a Golf course legally. The Enduro event is part of the Hare and Hounds series competition and we went on the practice day for some fun.
It was definitely fun and games although not for everyone. We bumped into a new buddy and he managed to bust his knee on his brand new KTM enduro bike. He managed a big fail or bail on his new KTM came off and broke his knee. I say broke his knee i mean more twisted and he was ok and managed to ride off into the pits.
We headed there with the KTM six days 300 TPI's, a GAS GAS 300 TPI and a Husqvarna FE350 4stroke. We don't often ride with 4 strokes but Nate Dog the guy on this bike is looking out for a new 2stroke some time in the near future.
Its not often you get the chance to take the enduro dirtbikes on a gold course and go full speed ripping around the track. The boys went full send mode too and shredded the enduro hare and hounds style race track on the practice day before the Steve Ireland competition and british championships.
I challenged my inner Billy Bolt, where as Adam Andy went more for a Tommy Searle style. Jakeyby went more for a MidwestMX // Rocket Ralph approach. it was a brilliant day out on the enduro bikes and I amanged to work on a lot of the technical skills of riding MX and riding fast Hare and Hounds style enduro.
As always you can expect the kent greenlaners madness of climbs, big jumps, log hops, fails, bails and banter. We went full send on the dirt bikes and tried to enduro as good as the greats like Billy Bolt, Graham Jarvis and Tommy Searle.

Yeah it was actually awesome fun. It’s not my usual style of riding but good to do something different and practice new skills

Yeah I rode the GasGas towards the end so was getting more comfortable and the brakes are sh!t so it’s pretty hard to slow down on that 🤣

Ayyyyyy I nearly had the same crash as you lol. There was a curb stone that started popping out more as the track wore down. Nearly caught me out 😂😂

Ah sweet. Yeah we got there super late due to traffic and stuff so ended up being a bit of a rush for us. Yeah I havnt got any more planned in but will be keeping an eye out going forward! Would be good to do more. 🤘🏼

How long was the lap looks class!
Yeah it was actually awesome and really fun to ride somewhere a bit different to what we usually do.
The lap was a bout 20 minutes long. Depends how fast you ride 🤣

Yeah, about 20 mins - I did the race as my first ever race. Was doing 20min laps. The top 10 were doing 17min laps - one even dipping to 15!

Yeah you have missed the big switch mate!! I didn’t make too big a deal of it, but in the last video he switched to the GasGas and his brother was riding the TM. His brother didn’t like it either and long story short it was sold. It was just too much of a pain in the ass and forever had problems!
Good riddance to it 🤣 the only good thing about that bike was TMUK. Cannot fault the dealer at all.

He wanted a KTM but couldn’t bring himself to go orange, so he got a red KTM instead 😂
Nope. I prefer linkage over PDS any day. I think TM jumped the boat with their tpi. Forever fouling plugs, using near twice as much fuel as the equivalent ktm, lacks bottom end grunt. I wanted it work but it just wasn’t for me unfortunately.
I'm wondering where is the Tm ?

Yeah will do a proper review at some stage. They are good bikes, just a red KTM with a few cheap parts in it.
