The recommended setup for these systems was one system per player when the units first came out. It gives us a lot of headroom that way, and it is very cool, because each player's vocals and instrument come from their own "tower", allowing the audience to automatically track to a soloist. For acoustic indoor setups, there are many bands using one system for 3 players, and you still get the great benefit of uniform sound all the way to the back of the room
We used miked drums for years with them, even at outdoor gigs. We have played rock shows of up to 500 in a 1000 seat amphitheatre. In that case, you would definitely need one system per player!
Hi Jeff! Just ran across this at random on youtube...great to see it again. It sounds even better than I'd remembered. Hope all is well out in sunny Cal.
I am a sax player, and you guys sound cool to me. The sound of the guitar sounds like the g player of Dier Straights. First of all the audience were enjoying themselves that’s all matters.and youtube is not for bragging on how good you are it is for sharing to your friends that cannot see you play live. Keep on posting never mind the negative.
Guys please answer me one question I have about these speakers. Why have you got 3 systems? is one system being unrealistic for anything bar an acoustic unplugged kind of setup? Oops, more questions. Can you actually put drums miked up and bass through them without blowing or overloading them? Finally, most excellent video!
I'm sure you're some kind of guitar God...we are just a cover band. Go stroke yourself elsewhere...There are a lot of videos you can bash to make yourself feel great.
it sounds like this song is about 10% over what theguitar is capable of. i don't mean to sound too critical, because this is a very difficult song to play. but maybe you should practice more before posting a video of this song on you tube.
