I think it might be because the words are claiming “my fear.” Scripturally, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and a sound mind. We do need to be careful with our words, what we speak over our lives and others.’ I think it would have been better to sing, “Fear doesn’t stand a chance…”. When I’ve been in situations when this song comes up, that’s how I’ve sung it.

This is breaking me. I was in such a desolate place last night, praying for some extremes in my life, failing marriage, finances, eviction, I live so far away from my family, even health concerns. I needed this worship.
Healing and restoration for my body from head to toes. For 5 years no driving, after getting a new car, my husband took me of the insurance, couldn't get my driver's license. ..after yrs of driving for many yrs. To walk without pain...❤
Worship is also my weapon. I use it every day...especially now. I am being seriously threatened with eviction, due to the false accusation of criminal activity, even though I don't have a police record. A member of the apt. staff came into my home and demanded I throw away my picture of Jesus and my Bible. I would not. She then told me that she would come up with a way to make me lose everything and live on the street. So, she placed false accusations of criminal activity in my records, so I cannot rent another place. That is why I am worshiping God even more passionately. He is my only help, and he will rescue me.
Ps 18:46: "The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! May the God of my deliverance be exalted!" Ps 20:1: "d May the Lord answer you in the day of distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you." Ps 37:39: "But the salvation of the righteous is of Jehovah; He is their stronghold in the time of trouble." Be blessed in the Name of Jesus!
Remember that scripture about how we can rejoice when they falsly accuse you because of Jesus name because it first happened to Jesus and all the prophets. And Jesus said no servant is better than his master so it will also happen to us. Also read Psalm 37. It is encouraging. And try to pray for your enemies.

I am praying for a breakthrough to stop fearing tomorrow since I have a progressive, debilitating disease that causes physical pain.... I am so much more grounded in my faith now and- mostly - can rest in Jesus arms -in His transcendental Shalom- still there are some days I let my pain fill my heart with fear about if I can handle the future. Of course I can, with His help, but that doesn't stop my flesh from battling with fear at times. I have prayed for healing diligently (with others) for over 20 years, but I still have this fleshly battle that some find difficult to "sit with" - assuming it is my lack of faith that prevents me from receiving a complete healing. It gets tiring explaining that I couldn't possibly stop God from doin a miracle if it is in His will. I personally heard from God that He can use me more if He doesn't completely heal me. I don't understand how people can think He will always heal us if we ask (I remind them of Paul's thorns and that we all die sometimes....) I think it has to do with people wanting control over suffering. But I don't presume to know God's ways. I continue to ask for healing but am committed to continue to testify to His goodness EVEN IF He doesn't heal me this side of Heaven.. Although, I was sad to hear of your recent pain struggle - it was refreshing to hear from another strong Christian that God doesn't always choose to heal in the ways that we hope for... Thank you so much for this recording and for all your podcasts..... I can hear the depths of your soul worship since you have been through the suffering you have. Thank you for being authentic and sharing your vulnerable, authentic worship with us. 💕🙏🙌
I need a breakthrough in my health. I've been sick almost my who life (I'm 45). I have cardiac conditions, seizures, cerebral palsy, spine issues, osteoporosis.
Don’t lose heart. He still does miracles. Even if they are walked out over time and not just an instant healing. I believe. Praying you fully trust and believe too.
