Debra, that is a great question. I will show again in my next video and do a comparison. Compared to the time and tru denim jacket I picked last year, I would say it is soft but the time and tru feels a touch softer. Now, the fabric on the t+t is 69%cotton vs JS is 79% cotton. Both are softer compared to an old school denim jacket. I hope this helps. Thanks again!
