Thanks Greg...some Cold Chisel a day, keeps the doctor away. I agree with your comments on Steve Prestwich...love his drums on this track...it really drives it.

This has always been a favorite of mine... That swampy feeling, the way they are all able to showcase their skills. I just love it.

There was a skit on an old comedy show, where they had a fake product called 'The Jimmy Barnes Alarm Clock', which is just Jimmy screaming like the random screaming in this. I wish it was real!

That song got me fired up for the rest of the day. Nice blast of Cold Chisel in middle of day is perfect.
So Greg, when did some of your ancestors arrive on the American continent or can you only trace after they already got there?
Certainly fascinating to trace back as far as we can. I know a few names from Scotland highlands from 1700's and a couple from Ireland but it really hard to go back much before the 1800's with most of my family tree. Most of my ancestors came to Australia in mid 1800's but like you, I sometimes wonder what made them decide to come all the way across the world. I assume with potato famine in Ireland that would account for some of them. I wonder if some came for the goldfields in Victoria around the 1850's. If you can trace back well into the 1700's your family doing well with their research.

Pretty much we can only trace things back to when they got here. Were I to venture a guess, most of them came because of poverty, but we can't tell for sure.

I understand your need to listen to Cold Chisel. 😁 And as someone who grew up listening to scratched records, stretched tapes and static on the radio , I'm not too fussy about the sound quality .🙃

Hey Greg - next time your looking for a new Jimmy Barnes track have a listen to his recent version he did in New Zealand with Neil Finn of Crowded House fame, a stripped down version of Forever Now. Barnsey has been through a lot but he’s still got it! Cheers Trev

This is not song related... Please set reminders on your phone so you don't forget to take your meds. It's so easy to forget through the day if you are busy, and then you feel like shit. So set reminders and take your bloody meds!!! 💊💊💊
