Morissette can easily change from 1 genre to another, from low to high notes, from 1 language to another with so many technical skills and extra capabilities like intentional vocal cracks and controlled whistles. For me, Morissette sang this song better than the original. After first hearing her sing her original song "Akin Ka Na Lang" which I was really impressed with, I began to search more about her, and I was recommended this song "Never Enough", and, truly, this performance got me hooked to her even more, and because this was a cover, I had to listen to the original to find out how did it really sound, first, in the movie "The Greatest Showman" (which did not show the actual singer but the actress who I thought was the singer but who I found out later was just acting), and then, the real original singer L.A. in one of her live performances. As you have said, it's a matter of personal preference, and I prefer Morissette's rendition. Even the crescendo Mori did at the end was not done in the original version. To answer your question, Yes, I agree that she is one of the best singers the Philippines has ever produced. But, don't just take our word for it, you have to watch and listen to her more, so yourself would become more convinced, and will be among the many credible reactors, vocal coaches, and singers, who can attest that Mori is not just your ordinary singer, but one who can be counted as among the "greats" and the "divas", past and present.🥰

Very well said. I'm a Morissette Dan since 2018 and I know she's one if the best singers globally and it's a matter of time before she gets recognized in the international stage. She sang this song with David Foster's concert here in Manila and Moein my opinion outdid herself. There are, alot of videos circulating but were, done using fan cams.

To answer your question I prefer Morissette’s version. In fact I prefer all the songs she has covered over the years than to the original. There are some songs she has covered that I have never heard before and I have fallen in love with it because of her extraordinary voice and her interpretation of the song. Classic example of this is her cover of Stone Cold original song/artist Demi Lovato.

Judging from all the comments I've read over the past months there's obvious bias at play when choosing between both singers of this song. Those who fell in love with the movie's version will almost always choose Loren's original while Filipinos will choose Morissette's. I prefer to say they're equally great versions. I'm Filipino.
