Tbh this literally explains everything that has happened in all of the novels, how he truly cares to save everyone and manages to get through almost everything even if it would hurt him. Because he’s seen and met all these people billions of times and seen them fail and die billions more. So eventually he would figure out a persona to fix everything and that would be to put himself in every dangerous situation possible without care because he knows he can survive it. While others can’t.
Another great video! I'm currently rereading NT10 and I would love a video on Marian and her powers of the "endings" of multiple mythologies. Especially since after God of War Ragnarok came out a while ago. Of course, if that isn't a bother.
You should've mentioned that Touma nearly forced Othinus into a mind break state. He explained it as while having vastly different specs, they were also being worn out at different rates and that Othinus worn get worn out faster. This is quite similar to us playing difficult game and not being bored by the challenge and actually improving. While Othinus probably felt like a super genius being forced to solve a simple question over and over again. So our boy Touma actually found 2 ways of beating her.
It would be funny if Diavolo and Touma meet in one of touma's hells and does the "First time" meme, then subaru and kazuma are nodding in the background.
As amazing as NT9 is, I find it very hard to forgive Othinus for what she did. Not just because it's Touma but how can any being, Man, God, Angel, Demon, or Dragon do that to another being? I remember seeing banned videos online of people abusing animals and other people in barbaric ways and this volume reminded me of them awful videos...However, since Othinus was once human, I kept asking myself why do human-like beings keeping putting others through suffering and hell just to get what they want? Why can't we be respectful to each other and love who we want? Why can't we ask for help when we need it? Every time I read NT9, I ask myself the very same questions and it truly bothers me...I remember watching the first episode of Index and seeing Touma putting on a brave smile saying the sky blue is so blue yet my future is so dark. After hearing that in my speakers I just wanted to jump on that balcony of his put my first on his chest and say to him, lad I knew your heart is bleeding if you need to drop that futon and cry your eyes out, do so! Seeing another soul suffering put another soul though billions of years of hell just made me think how dark and cruel the world's illusions can truly be through one thing or another. I really hope the end Index has Touma carrying his futon with Othinus and Touma saying the sky is so blue and my future is so bright!
Othinus herself had went through pain as well. Othinus was driven nuts because of being lonely for thousands of years and those realities which Touma saw were the projection of her loneliness and even after nt 9, she was willing to destroy her own body for the sake of Touma
@@depressedrocksenjoyer9472 Yeah but the difference is her suffering was all self-inflicted. She is the one who destroyed her world in the first place. She refused to open up to others and explain her situation(which would have let her get an understander), and instead started veiwing the world as a game of sims as a coping mechanism. She was so obsessed with the past that she literally tortured the kindest guy in the universe for hundreds of billions of years, so long that she herself nearly turned into a vegatable, without a moment of remorse or trying to find a better method. Her suffering is entirely the result of her own arrogance and ego. By her own admission, she was the most rotten to the core person in history, and really shouldn't have been saved. But touma didn't care. Her punishment is to live with the guilt and feeling of alienation forever and ever, making this world a comfortable hell for her, one where she can be happy with touma, but will always know she doesn't belong.
Touma is really a good guy to the core if someone could do this endless nightmare to them ,eventho understanding their intentions ,As a human there will be severe grudge against magic god but touma forgives her.
Honestly though, what is there is forgive about her. I think it is the one thing I can't understand about a lot of Japanese authors. You made this villain a horrible person but because they now have a back story to somewhat explain why they are so horrible we are meant to feel bad for them? Unless I am missing something all it makes me feel is even more annoyed at othinus. A truly good person would not make someone else suffer the terrible things they suffered.
@@rockyterman6904 IMO, backstories are meant to serve more as an explanation to why said characters become what they are now rather than an excuse for getting sympathy, in witch this kinda applies Othinus here. 'sides, its not like those types of characters didn't get their punishment in the end (most of the times anyway)
@@rockyterman6904 I know, I don't really see the problem with that though. There's a difference between feeling sorry for someone, and completely forgiving them for their horrible actions.
@@kamijounotouma5596 I mean don't get me wrong I don't know too much about the story myself but I am also basing this off of what the video is saying. Which I can't agree with at all.

That kinda insane, wishing for the companh to continue the anime but i doubt it will be happening in the near future. So basically, it almost like (Tatsuya pain (whenever he die and revive)+ Subaru suffering (die and revive)) x 100M or some sht like that, the mental breakdown is immense.

YES THIS NEEDS A PART 2 WHY EVEN QUESTION THAT??
Touma's right hand can do anything as a reset button.
dormammu i came to bargain
- Touma Kamijo
You should've mentioned that Touma nearly forced Othinus into a mind break state.
He explained it as while having vastly different specs, they were also being worn out at different rates and that Othinus worn get worn out faster.
This is quite similar to us playing difficult game and not being bored by the challenge and actually improving.
While Othinus probably felt like a super genius being forced to solve a simple question over and over again.
So our boy Touma actually found 2 ways of beating her.
Let's go!!!! Part 2!!!
Does this mean he had experienced every method of torture possible? That's so cool.
I am just letting you know man, I want to see that part 2
I had watched this before reading the volume, but still reading it made me tear up.
Bro my man better get his happy ending because it is WELL deserved.
Hopefully one day! He never has peace as there is always a new threat round the corner 😂
It would be funny if Diavolo and Touma meet in one of touma's hells and does the "First time" meme, then subaru and kazuma are nodding in the background.
Part 2 please!!
Also poor Touma
Othinus: how do you dodge my attacks ?
Kamijou touma: Elden ring ohhh elden ring.
A 10/10 summary 👌👌
Thanks a lot!
I’m one of those “too lazy to read the LN”, so I always love Horus’ videos even if it’s spoiler content
Thanks for watching my stuff :P
Hey at least he got 3 goddesses of different sizes now after that 🙌 fr an ending like that sounds nice
Othinus herself had went through pain as well. Othinus was driven nuts because of being lonely for thousands of years and those realities which Touma saw were the projection of her loneliness and even after nt 9, she was willing to destroy her own body for the sake of Touma
@@depressedrocksenjoyer9472 That's right she did! The world is very cruel. Othinus was excellent in NT10!
@@pierocolombo2643 I have come a with a new saying and its "The *itch's do not help" which is something that Touma would say if you said that to him 😂
@@depressedrocksenjoyer9472 Yeah but the difference is her suffering was all self-inflicted.
Bro was so stuborn that he made a god ragequit
@@kamijounotouma5596 er, some people here apparently feel sympathy for her. Which I don't understand at all.
Since it seems that touma is now going to be helping her. Something i would be completely unable to stand if I was to read it. And people are framing his forgiveness of her as a good thing. Which I can't agree with at all.
a channel called saadisfy does a thing where he tells the story of volumes from a manga called classroom of the elite, he started doing it because (until recently) there was no hope for a season 2 of the anime. you could probably see success doing a similar thing
NT9 is so fcking good and yeah papachi did a great job on that one. 🤣🤣
Hey aeon thanks for the video and yes plis part two (New testament 10) plis.
PD I gave you a like
Thank you for the like :P
Truly love who explained this novel
Love ya too 👀😂
Shit mah boi Touma had the Pucci treatment
No matter how bad I say about Touma for Mikoto, but as a human Touma should deserve a really normal life :/
A nice refresh is always appreciated, after reading volume after volume everything becomes kinda messy to me lol 👍
No problem!
That’s like Doofenshmirtz finally beating Perry, just for him to say “nah, I don’t wanna do this anymore”
Please make a part 2
Will do :P
I can't wait to reach this volume. It's undertones are masterful storytelling. I can see why you like this arc.
It's superb
I really wish I could get into it but I stopped reading it on vol 5 of the original. Which is the first of the novel that features other characters perspective without the mc being directly involve
@@michaelreyes9283 Accelerator is the second MC.
hhhhhwat
6:23 to be more precise, Othinus has power over the living and not-living. Misaka network's state is weird, so it's able to bypass this logic.
4:02 damn they even got hakomari on there. 6:30 Also I remember first reading that monologue and almost being brought to tears it's the absolute peak of raildex for me.
ngl with this video my respect for Touma went from 0 to 100 real quick
Everyone gasta until Touma got motivation
Pretty much kek
This is what we call "abusive relationship".
Granparents describing their walk to school be like
yes sir give us that pt 2
will dooooo
Touma is the indomitable human spirit
Subaru and Phos would love to chill with touma
Hey can u explain what you gain as a abyss crosser all abilities and ranks for each abyss crosser coronzon Anna sprrengal and accelerator and the final sphere the 11th sphere
Good lord she litterally messed him up
Touma got the mental fortitude of a fortress
Indeed, it nearly broke him but he picked himself back up
It’s really because his magic breaker isn’t really a magic breaker, it’s much much more.
I strive to be like touma
I need a will to live
I can't wait to see it animated
Hope they do it justice though!
@@AeonofHorus the anime is back?
If anyone read his "schedule", he's in grave injury once every 3 days. It's even more Packed in Daihaseisai arc. Unluckily, he doesn't die because of Heaven Canceller
Peak volume of all To Aru series is NT9 and NT10
Well finally on time....... 😆 Well from where is that fight scene of touma and othinus IF ?
Its from the second opening
HAPPY TOUMA DAY!!
i need a part 2!
Its coming :P
Touma went though the Subaru arc
Bruh he went through all that for her to be like you right...
I have only watched the anime so I haven’t actually watched the entire video but based on the comments, this story gets crazy. I looked up th light novels and my brain fried because of how many different stories there were. Can anyone explain to me the read order for this series if there is one? I’d really appreciate it
Made a video about that! ruclips.net/video/RuB2G3YDnkg/видео.html
I like (not really) to imagine that Touma would atleast have a few nightmares after NT9/10 and would completely have a shut down for a while. He might hide from Index and Othinus tho. I have a feeling he would woke up in the middle of the night and start crying or something.
Yep, he definitely would, he already had PTSD about it in NT12
@@AeonofHorus Yeah, I imagine a total blackout would probably shut him down. I could imagine the scene:
*Blackout
Index: TOUMA! WHERE SRE YOU?
Touma:........
Index: Touma?
Part 2 pls
Part 2 plz
If you have a Shitty Day. Just Remember Subaru. If that doesn't work Just Remember Kamijo Touma.
I really really wish his "faction" finds out about this suffering of his.
There's a fanfic for that
@@acrsclspdrcls1365 I know.
They can't because they would never accept othinus's continued existence. Kanmachi knew that.
@@acrsclspdrcls1365 what’s it’s called?
@@fr1wn642 misfortune no one sees until now.
5:42 pointing out frenda being alive just broke me 😔
