    Hi Natasha, recently I started looking at your videos. Today, January 1st, my last son turns 18. He is not a fan of cake but he has been asking me to make the custard pie. Last night I tried your recipe so that he could enjoy the custard pie today. It took a longer time to bake than your suggested time. However, when my son saw it this morning, he smiled and immediately cut a slice to try it. We both went for seconds...it was amazingly delicious. Thank you so very much.

    It would have been great for first timers like me making caramel to show the whole process. I got confused when the sugar melt then turned hard. So I thought I left it too long and threw it away. I tried again and it got hard again. This was frustrating. So I say let me leave it and then it started to brown and caramelize. In your video it just looked like it got brown without the hardening process.

    • @TriniCookingwithNatasha
      @TriniCookingwithNatasha 8 лет назад

      it didnt harden in the pot only when I poured it into the glass bowl to set.

    • @stacymeranda
      @stacymeranda 8 лет назад

      +Trini Cooking with Natasha I mean it got white and hard before it melt. Like you know when you making kurma and it now start to see threads and when you throw it over the kurma , it hardens. That's how it was before turning caramel.
