Being in the process of finding a reputable top-notch builder for my L3 H2 Mercedes Sprinter office/camper van conversion, since I am useless at DIY. I have seen loads of DIY and Professionally converted Camper vans, this includes vans converted in the UK, Europe, USA and Australia, from which I came to the conclusion that the quality from Europe (German, Dutch, Swiss, Italian, Poland, etc) seems to be the ones to beat. Germans, Americans and Australians, to mention a few, are also focused on off-road camper vans. Watching this video, looking at the quality of Andy’s work, which I believe would be way better in person, I can finally say, I have found one UK based camper van conversion that can fully compete with the European made ones! Top Quality Andy!, you need to open a RUclips channel for promoting and marketing! Note, there maybe more UK builders like Andy out there, that I haven’t seen.

Andy’s work is first rate. He really is one of the good guys when it comes to van builds. He also helped me get hold of a set of Scheel-Mann van seats for my Sprinter so he definitely get a big thumbs up from me 👍

Is the sprinter naming convention different in the UK to US? For example, is the 315 the same as a ‘170’ ? Thanks
So over here. 144 is called a mid wheel base. 170 is a long wheel base.
Same chassis.
The 313/315/316/319 relate to the chassis weight and engine size. Starts with a 3 being the 3.5 tonne. Starts with a 5. T tonne 👍🏻

Lovely van mate however is it the best in the uk? Well that is down to individual preference. That layout and van build wouldn't be any good for me but absolutely perfect for others so on that basis we can all agree that it is an incredible build but shouldn't be labelled the best build in the UK

Love those seats and configuration of rear seating. Attention to detail is incredible. Love the ceiling and lighting. Cupboard detailing is incredible. Unfortunately the wheels are rubbish! Sorry just my opinion.

@@urbanarkoverland like the guy who did roof rack he needs to make front bumpers for that over lander look without costing over £4000 tempted to work out a design my self and get one made up build it with cardboard first then use that as a template for a wooden template then take it to a metal place could sell for £2350 still got a big profit with out ripping people off with a uk stamp of course 😂👍

As a certified asshole I would normally find something nasty and critical I could say about this van, however right now for the first time in my life I am at a complete loss for words? There is nothing I can criticise about this van……….Nothing?

Throwing £150,000 at a £40,000 van ""o look what i have achived "" not impressive tbh throw £3,000 at a £10k van and come back to me .Videos that cater to the 1% not really applying to or appealing for the masses.I would be moe impressed with links to where to get some of that stuff like the rear door liners aftermarket for 1/10th of what Mercedes charge. Nothing agains the guy and not jelly , just unrealistic , buying a van next week.
Just coz you haven’t got a decent budget doesn’t mean you need to get upset with those that do.
Ps. Panel Van is 65k from factory.
And this sold for way less than £150 k including the van and the labour.
Such a sore attitude. Don’t come back here with it.
