Right on, glad i could help. I'll be doing a tube winch bumper on my trooper soon so that will be another video. Thanks for watching Fabbin Adventures and please share and spread the word! Also my logo stickers will be made soon if interested.
I got to give it to ya... quality work I've seen a couple of your videos you explain things very condensed yet progressive... I got to say that whole setup looks heavy for a Suzuki and I've seen some of the other things that you've added to yours so I'm just curious how you adjusted suspension wise for the additional weight?...or did you?
I dont think he changed anything on his lj for those bumpers, as for mine, yeah i have a ton of stuff added to it, but the suspension handles it nicely (trail tough epic trek spring over) nice and soft ride, well soft for a short wheel base..lol Thanks for the kind words! And thanks for commenting!
I cant remember what he said Mike, i think it was around a 1977 or something lj80. He had me build both front and rear bumpers for him and then he had them powder coated and installed a winch. Thanks for the comment man!
Great ViD! Already gave me ideas for my 86 JX ! With that type of build could that also be made into an aux. air tank ? Or would that not be advised? Do you have a rear bumper version? Thanks so much!
I dont know much about the lj80s or where to get parts, you could try low range off road or maybe petroworks or trail tough, they might be able to steer you in the right direction. Thanks for watching Fabbin Adventures!
The lj80 is not mine, its a local guy who owns it, he wanted me to build the bumpers for it. He wont sell it, he just bought an lj truck to build too. Thanks for watching Fabbin Adventures!
Excellent video , thank you for putting it together

thanks, sure you could probably do that, i built a rear bumper for it the same weekend, nothing too fancy.
What do you figure the ball park weight of the bumper is?
Good question, ill weigh it and get back to you.
Right around 65lbs
Hey Ronald. What thickness did you use on the winch plate?? Thinking 1/4.
The actual winch plate was 1/4" yes, the rest of the bumper was 3/16" if i remember right.
@FabbinAdventures thought so thanks, love the build and the video.
