Thank you for the english version, very well done. Super-6 build quality is one of the best I ever seen. Excellent sound. But the fact there is no visual way to know the initial position of any parameter in a patch is a real pain. I already have sounds I made for which I forgot and don't know how I set the osc and modulations for example.
I personally look for endless mod capabilities in a synth like the Hydrasynth, MiniFreak, or PolyBrute. Can the Super 6 compete with those synths modulation wise?
Hydrasynth and Polybrute are easier to handle concerning this and offer far more options. To me UDO is more a players synth like an old Jupiter, Juno or Prophet 5. It also feels like. Soundwise to my taste, the Polybrute could not compete. Too mushy for me. But certainly great for Sequential and Oberheim fans. The Hydrasynth has more „bite“, just like the old japanese ones. You will have to try it yourself! ☝️
Unfortunately it was just a demo unit from UDO! In the meantime I opted for some vintage stuff! And now there is Super Gemini coming along! 😁 But I would always recommend it again if you are looking for a straightforward production synth for techno and other electronic styles. It‘s really a great sounding machine! 👍
