Very cool. I have done the 25 Hours of Spa 4 times and there is nothing like taking to the grid with 120 cars going 5 cars wide in the middle of the night in the rain! They do not look serious but the racing is absolutely world class and the competition is fierce. One of the best values in motorsport.
Myself always wanted to drive a funcup beetle too. Seen a lot of them at spa and Zolder doing trackdays there. They are a lot of fun it seems and they are fooookin faaaaast in the corners
Naska, an Italian race driver and RUclipsr, made a couple videos about this. All drivers "pay to play", in some form even in F1 pilots pay. But of course at that point sponsors make you ruch. But unless you're on the top of the top you're still putting your money in to race...
Back in the 90's in Cape Town, South Africa we built something similar. It was a fiberglass Beetle body on a space frame. Custom double A arm front suspension and an Essex V6 mated to a Porsche gearbox. It was leathal. If I can find the photos I will send them to you.

Misha, you can recover deleted data from a memory card to hard drive so long as you haven't filled that empty space with new data. Something like Recuva would bring it right back!
Have you ever heard about the Fittipaldi Beatle? An 8 cilinders 400hp 450kg homebuilt Beatle that in the late 60s competed and was faster than Ford GT40 and Lola T70 and alpha T33
I've had those Hankook Ventus V12s on my Prelude for a couple months now after doing a lot of homework and I must say, it's probably the best "budget" performance tire currently on the market. I'm super happy to see my purchase decision validated and how it performs under some real torture. Haha

Are there any small scale racing events that novice drivers can get into in the UK? I was under the impression that people can only do racing events if they have licenced motorsport cars / licence?
i did like 2 hours of online can be called endurance races....even if its at the comfortable armchair it aint easy either :D:D cant press esc an take a leak, or eat drink something....definatelly cheaper as the real racing :D
Wenn du auf die Speicherkarte nichts mehr schreibst, nachdem du etwas gelöscht hast, kannst du die Dateien ganz leicht wiederherstellen. Brauchst nur eine Recovery Software. Beim Löschen wird nicht die Datei gelöscht, sondern nur die Möglichkeit auf die Datei zuzugreifen.
Nice little Fun gimmick, low weight, mid enginge when i see wright. A little limited with the street tires but also a little cheaper therefore. See that kind of car allready at some hillclimb, driven by a girl.

Used them on my miata. 215/40r16. Grip very good but that size is waaay too much for stock power so now i'll try some 195/50r15 toyos
