I am so curious about the kkaennip kimchi (kimchi made of perilla leaves). I hope I can find some fresh perilla leaves at the Asian market soon, as the last few times I've been there, they have been out-of-stock. Everything looks fabulous.
Oh I hope you can get kkaennip(perilla leaves) soon It's a food that Koreans really like, so it's delicious even if you grill meat and wrap it (we call it ssam when we eat it wrapped in lettuce or kkaennip(perilla leaves)), Or, if you make it like my recipe, you can make it and eat it with rice for a little longer.

The rate of diabetes will rise by time on Korea ...I understand the idea of all 5/6 tastes in a dish. Remember: all vegetables turn into sugar by digestion...no need to add extra sugar ...it's not healthy at all.
